On Fridays, some of the silver stacker crew likes to show off their 5-ounce silver treasures.

Investing in silver is an addiction to some of us, they call it stackititas. Here is a 5-ounce piece I picked up a few years back, I used to have another one but I gave it away in one of the SSG (steemsilvergold) raffles we had.

The obverse side has good old George Washington on it just like the quarter.

It's kinda weird seeing a giant silver quarter and it sure is clunky to hold in your hand.

The reverse side of the coin has the USS Cairo and a famous Military Park in Vicksburg Mississippi.

It has markings on the side that show the weight and purity of this gem.

I am having a hard time uploading my pictures to Leofinance, it keeps telling me that the pictures are to big, I don't have this problemo on Hive so it can't be me, can it?

I paid like 85 bucks for this when everybody hated silver. Now, these go for 185 dollars or more. I wish I still had the other one but it was for a great cause, promoting the silvergold community here on Hive.
