Earning or Buying Crypto? My First Cryptocurrency and How I Earned It

Content creating could be a bit difficult especially when you are not really vested in a particular subject matter. I love business and I like money as well but I don't like to write much about money and finance. This is the major reason I don't frequent on the Leofinance community but I'm a big fan of the LEO token. This is why I am very thankful to @Uyobong for making my participation in the LeoFinance Community a bit easy through his writing guides and initiative.

Today, I'd like to share a brief about my first cryptocurrency and how I earned it. It's going to be less technical but I hope you stay glued to the last full stop.

I was still in the University when I heard about cryptocurrency but didn't really know much about it. In late 2017, a very good friend of mine and colleague @Utomobong, introduced me to the Steemit blogging platform. Following the benefits it had to offer, I opted to join the platform and my journey there was very interesting.

Having had my account created, I made my first post on the platform which was my introduction post and through that post, I got my first ever cryptocurrency which was Steem and Steem Dollars in 2017. Immediately, I sold it off to have a feel of it in my local currency, Naira. It wasn't that huge but it was worth something.

So, I earned my first cryptocurrency in 2017 and the currency was Steem and Steem Dollars. The process of earning it was via blogging. Ever since then, I got to appreciate and adopt Cryptocurrency. Right now, I have learnt a lot about cryptocurrencies and I'm now trading it and still earning some via blogging.

On the whole, earning cryptocurrency is way better than buying it. Buying it comes with a lot of risks especially when you are a novice but earning it via means like blogging on Hive or LeoFinance is a lot more fun and interesting. To me, earning crypto is the best way towards gaining mass adoption. This makes me stay glued to Hive and other related platforms with this earning features.
