Show Me The Earnings and I Might Join | The Case of Onboarding Friends in Hive.
With the recent surge of Hive in the past, as part of the onboarding team in Hiveph we got excited as it will be another leverage that we can provide to the newbies to push and create content herein Hive and also for those who want to start their journey into content creation.
@romeskie and I posted some of the possible earnings that a post can earn and we got messages from friends who are just brushing off our Facebook status. Some are interested and want to try it out but after we ask them if they are still going to push through most of the times we will receive a message that they are busy and can't squeeze doing content creation on the side.
And I get them - it is hard to create content, especially the introductory post. Good thing, that we already passed that stage 4 years ago thus I am not that worried about it anymore but I cringe each time that I will be reading my introductory post.
Aside from that, the judgment on oneself that they cannot create something because they are not trained to do blogs. I always encourage them that there's no need to be perfect because if they will try to aim for perfection they will never be able to start or if they start it will be too late.
Because of that, I was able to onboard @jadeinsight, a colleague from previous work. She had inquired and stated that she already have a draft around 4 months ago or more but never had the chance to complete it. I know that I sounded rude when I told her that she will never finish it and told her to post it the soonest but she understood it right away. Now, she is enjoying reading and commenting on the Herbal Hive Community as she is a fan of herbs and natural medicine.
The important part is you start and better in the process - there's a lot of things to learn here in Hive and investing our time getting acquainted with cryptos is something that we need to consider in this day of age. Though the majority of my Filipino friends are still afraid of venturing here and our stories aren't that believable that we earn from content creation here maybe in the future everyone of my friends will be onboarded and be leaving Mark Zuckerberg's Meta.
