Official Winners List for #HivePUD (Hive Power Up Day) January 1st, 2022

    Before I get to the final results, a quick shout out to say that while I dropped doing the different beneficiaries for the other Power Up Day posts, this one still has my numbers man extraordinaire, @abh12345 set as 20% as a thank you for sending me the raw data every month. I've also upped my delegation to @tenkminnows (from 500 to 1K) to (hopefully) better support @steevc's awesome initiative.

Oh, and one more quick thing - in the time since this month's announcement post, we've picked up TWO new prizes, and have one that's been redone. For the occasion, I've added two new emojis to the prize list, which you'll see below.

Now to the business at hand - a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this month's #hivepud, either through powering up, posting, offering prizes, or spreading the word. Altogether we had:

  • 135 posts on the 1st tagged with #HivePUD and/or #HPUD.
  • 121 people who powered up and posted on the 1st using #HivePUD and/or #HPUD, with 68 of those qualifying for prizes.
  • 9,748 Hive (worth approx $14,719.00 USD) powered up by Hive Power Up Day participants during the hours of the first via their local time.
  • 843,067 Hive (worth approx $1,273,031.00 USD!!!) powered up by 383 people during the 24 hour UTC time set to earn @hivebuzz badges (check out their Happy New Year - Feedback from the first Hive Power Up Day of 2022 post for more info).

 

And as I said in the Unofficial Results post, we had a nice bump up the numbers, with more people participating and bigger total amount of Hive powered up compared to December. While I'm sure there were many factors, I don't doubt that @victoriabsb's Orca Month idea, with the amazing 50K prizes sponsored by @theycallmedan and @blocktrades, had something to do with it. What an awesomesauce way to start the new year, my Hive friends!

I can't wait to hear the results of the third Hive Power Up Month Challenge - it's early, but so far I think I'm still in the running!
