Big nose, big...

Made a small silver purchase today, nothing special just some ol' cheap standard circulation coins, from Canada, Portugal and Sweden. You will get the chance to enjoy them in my unboxing in a couple days when I receive them.

Anyways, I did something I usually don't. I bought a non silver coin from the same seller. Imo it was so hilarious I just had to own it. I paid 1 euro for it, probably a bit of a steal but hey, it was worth it just for the lulz. 😆 According to numista, a more fair price would be 50 cents .

So yeah, the bad boy depicted in the coin is Charles de Gaulle:

In 1958, he came out of retirement when appointed President of the Council of Ministers (Prime Minister) by President René Coty. He rewrote the Constitution of France and founded the Fifth Republic after approval by referendum. He was elected President of France later that year, a position to which he was reelected in 1965 and held until his resignation in 1969. source
