Wow you JUST Got in Under the Wire! The feds make you retire at 60 as well (or used to) and I had a federal inspector recruiting me when I was running a job at the Federal Pen system's "death row". He was telling me I should apply, yada-yada, making it sound great, and I told him I was told I'm already too old. He was like No! you're fine, we need young people blah-blah and I said COOL! Did they change the age requirements? He said "No, but you're young enough" then I told him my age... OOPS, TOO OLD!!! lol It was like an extra $10 per hour over an already great union pay scale. 20 and out, or longer if you are young enough. I just missed out!
