. The beauty of disruptive technology was loud in 2020 during the corona virus outbreak which caused a lockdown in all economies of the world. That season though with pain pushed to limelight a lot of technologies and systems that were existing but not noticed. We saw the revolution that swept through the world of work, education, ecommerce, socialmedia and all of human interaction for good.
The essence of disruptive technology is to sweep away the seemingly old systems or habits and replace such with a more working model which has attributes that are recognizably superior. The ideation of #projectblank by LeoFinance has been on the bunker for about 18 months now. The idea got everyone on Hive blockchain talking about it and anticipating. However, I think it was not yet time for its emergence until the Twitter takeover by Elon Musk and subsequent call for the X app (everything app).
We are glad that from a supposed standalone project within the Leoverse, several reviews and iterations has inspired its merging into LeoFinance to give a whole new face of an all-in-one Web3 UI for short-form, long-form, wallet management, NFTs, and all one can think of.

Twitter has arguable served as a voice to reckon with in the socialmedia space. it has become a front where leading governments of the world pose as an official PR feed to disseminate information and also gather feedback for governance. However, the recent events surrounding Twitter and other socialmedia spaces has drawn the need for a web3 alternative which LeoFinance has been building.
Seeing yesterday's reply by LeoFinance to a tweet calling for what latest stuff is BUIDLing on Hive inspired this post. LeoFinance's with a screenshot of the welcome page of the new LeoFinance UI with a sweet semblance to Twitter, had the inscription "Crypto Twitter on Hive" alongside. For me, #cryptotwitter on Hive is just the perfect narration of the new LeoFinance UI which amplifies microblogging with crypto earnings with long form content rewards at the background, but with massive reward structure.
Yes, Long-Form blogging is still a thing. Yes, you can still earn CRAZY high rewards for creating long-form content on LeoFinance. But now, Microblogging (Threads) will take a center-stage view on the app. It'll be the first thing you see. It will feel - to outsiders - like using twitter. source
Key in this Leo UI development is the improved ad-revenue, author monetization an NFTs earn/trade revenue which would be used to buy back $LEO and that means a periodic raise in the $LEO price. Also, the new microblogging feature of Leofinance coupled with the seamless hive account creation would make it easy for the masses to onboard LeoFinance and Hive and earn while expressing themselves in microblogs as well as lon-form contents.
