FARM's use is somewhat two-fold: an in-game staking token, and an outside peg.

Whether it lasts or not will really come down to Aggroed and his willingness to hold onto his commitment to accept FARM in future hive-based projects. He's stated he'll accept and peg FARM at a $1 minimum in upcoming hive projects.

In a sense it comes down to an "investment" into the valuation of future hive-related stuff. In a time in which they're pushing to expand use cases for Hive engine, FARM doesn't seem like a terrible place to earn some value.
