There has been some amazing developments with @leofinance and I have been documenting my experiences along with all the things I have o complain about. None of these things should make you forge the quality of the amazing things we have on HIVE ecosystem. We already have world's #1 Blockchain game that has come out of the grassroots and without the kind of Venture Capital funding the likes of Gods Unchained and CryptoKitties.

It is a very powerful Summoner which will simply eliminate the abilities such as Dodge or Flying and make the speed differences mostly meaningless. Eve 1 speed Monster will start out at 3 with Byzantine Kitty.

How Much Did It Cost To Get Here

The numbers are tough to calculate. Byzantine Kitty was a little extra given to those who purchased Untamed Booster Packs directly from @splinterlands and financially supported the development of the game. I got large discounts for my Untamed Booster Packs through buying in bulk and paying in DEC. I probably spent $1.30 per pack on average. This is only an estimate.

Since the way @splinterlands airdrops wok, you are less likely to get an airdrop unless you have the exact number of Booster Packs purchases. that is why I only have 1 Byzantine Kitty although I have 236 more packs above 475.

475 X $1.30 = $617.50

For having spent that much money, you would have gotten this card and and get a chance to enter any of the future airdrops that come after each 100,000 Untamed Booster Packs sold.

Mystery Potions and Land Plot Claims

I could have ended the article after talking about the airdrops. That would not be a real in depth look at the hidden gems of @splinterlands. Th discounts you can gain from buying DEC is great. I have even been selling my STEEM and depositing them to STEEM-Engine to buy more DEC. Here is a screenshot from my latest attempt:

If you have bee following @splinterstats you should understand how the odds are stacked in your favor when you are purchasing Mystery Potions. You can thank the giving away of 5 Land Plots per day for that. For the month of February there were 72.36 Mystery Potions running. From the looks of most recent statistics, the numbers won't be that great for March. We have been seeing over 90 Mystery potions running daily. You can follow @splinterstats and see the statistics for yourself.

This is why I have been serious about helping @splinterlands developers sell me their NFT for future expansions. I have already received my Totem claims and I have 52 of the "Alpha" pieces of Praetoria land. It has been a good investment.
