Knock, knock....

OK, excuse my poor impression of the postman this morning, but you get the idea??

Fair play, ive got to give it to @backyardbullion for possibly the best wrapped package I've ever received. Every corner neatly folded and taped down. Every cut, ever edge, every fold perfectly done. I can guarantee this is the handy work of Mrs BYB, and I can also bet that Christmas time, wrapping presents is a blast in their house

If you've ever bought from @backyardbullion before, and if you haven't I can't recommend him highly enough, you'll know that he strives to offer a service that goes above and beyond, and even the small details are thought of.

You can just tell when a business is doing OK, they even send you a personalised box, just incase you forgot who you bought off!!

As you can see, this is the third in the series of the yearly release of the BACKYARDBULLION bars. Now they do come in at a bit over spot price, and by a bit, I mean A LOT. There are a few factors that add to the price he can demand for these bars:

  1. He's one of the few, here in the UK, that melts and pours silver bars for resale.

  2. There is a limited number of these bars, which makes them collectable

  3. He may be the only silver pourer to get ALL his handpoured silver bars hallmarked

  4. I trust him.... and trust in my books, goes a long way.

Ive know @backyardbullion for a good few years now, so when the first bar (2018) came available and I was asked if I wanted in, I jumped at the chance. Unfortunately, the numbers 1-6 were already taken, and having zero affinity with any other number, I chose 11 because that was my day of birthday. Thinking about it now, lower numbers are always more sort after and picking up 7 might have been the better option. But hey-ho, what's done is done, and number 11 is now mine.

The bars are (a minimum) of 1oz of the finest silver, and have been hallmarked by the Edinburgh asset office. This not only makes them perfect for a stacker like me, but when it comes to any possible re-sale, gives any buyer the reassurance of buying with confidence.

Im already looking forward to the 2021 release now. So what do you think of these little bars?
