Fees... isn't that suppose to be the advantage of using crypto, the low or no fees. We all might be spoiled now using sites like Hive.blog or Leo Finance when you can send and receive your coins with little to no fees. I can literally send someone Leo right now and will not have to pay a fee for it to get there. Even exchanges charge pretty low fees to take your money out and you can save a lot in the long run over a lot of traditional types of finance.

But here is the thing, fees, when they benefit the user, can be a good thing.

When a company charges high fees and you don't know where that money is going it feels like it is coming out of your pocket. But in crypto these fees can be going to help the value of the coin you hold or even put money into your pocket.

How Fees And Ads Help A Coin Value

When more money is coming in the easier it is for the value of a coin to go up. This might be from buybacks or buying assets that can back a coin. At this time the value of a coin is still in USD so we need USD coming in for a coin to have real value. This money has to come from somewhere and fees and ads are a reasonable way for it to enter the system. With ads I barely even see them anymore on Leo (though there was one that caught my eye yesterday) and they don't take away from my experience from using the site.

Fees Can Go Directly To The Coin Holder

Not only can fees go to help the coin value but people who hold a coin can get paid daily from the fees. You see this is exchange coins that share their revenue with their users. When people hold a coin they will get a share of the fees that the site generates and this in turn will make the coin more valuable. It is the same with ad revenue, a system can be set up that the users get a share of the ad revenue.

When the money is spent to help the community and given out to the community it can do a lot to raise the value of a coin.
