No matter what your site is or what it produces you can benefit from being on the blockchain and having a coin for your site. If it is to pay for work or give out or be a loyalty perk, you can really see a surge of growth in your community if you decide

Social Media/Blogging

Anyone who works online knows how hard it is to make money from ads and subs. Sure the revenue can be lucrative if you do well but it is only the ones who are really popular who are making it big, while the rest are having trouble making a living off of their content. But if you have posted on Leo you have seen the power of crypto when it comes to rewarding users for their work. Crypto is a great way to distribute wealth to the people who are contributing to the site and because of how efficient the system is at delivering the coins to every use you can make sure everyone gets paid without having to hit a threshold. This micro-transaction nature is too expensive in traditional models as transactions cost money but on a system like Hive, Leo can be sent to everyone without crazy fees and any one can make money from their posts.

Not only can content creators make money from their coins but also from ads and other methods as well. This means a site can reward users it more way then one and attract more users who are looking for a place to share their work. It makes no sense not to post your work on a site that will pay you in more ways. Plus if the coin value goes up even if you are only making a little now you will be making a lot in the future.

Loyalty Points

@coingecko has already started this with Candy. Coins do not have to be given out just for work, they can be handed out as a bonus for visiting a site or checking into an app. This is an easy way to show your community that you appreciate them and can give your site an edge over other sites. Your time if valuable and it is nice to get a thank you from a site just for doing what you would do anyways. There is no reason for a site not to do this. My only recommendation is a few sites should work together to make one coin and all use that so it has more value. We don't need every site with their own or that can dilute value quickly.

Ads

When you watch ads wouldn't it be nice if you got a piece of the revenue. This is a new model that BAT coin is already showing to work. This model works for both parties as the viewer makes money for watching the ad and the people who are showing the ad know that the people who are watching them are okay with ads as they are getting paid for them. It is win win.

Games

This ones gets covered often for a reason. Most games have some kind of economy in them, from items to coins, so it only makes sense to put them on a blockchain and give them real world value.

Streaming

This one can work on both levels, you can reward content creators and give coins to people who watch. This is a great way to distribute wealth and build a community.

Every site and app can use a coin and I think in the near future it will be the norm. But like I said I want to see more partnerships so we don't have millions of coins all with little to no worth.
