Good old ads. There is a lot of debate about them and how they take away from user experience from a site. For me, as long as they are not intrusive and don't collect (sell) your data, a banner at the top or side of the screen really doesn't bother me. This is money that can be used by the site owners to help improve the site without having to charge its users. I'll usually take a banner over a subscription fee and it is a way to help the site without having to dive into my own pocket. But now with blockchain technology ads are not only helpful for the site but for you and the value of the coin. You can actually see the value that these ads are giving you personally and when you see the value of your coin go up all of a sudden that ad really isn't such a bad thing.

Leo Does Ads Right

Leo ads are placed well and really don't take away from my experience of using the site. They are at the top of the screen, I can phase them out while I read or work and they don't pop up or obstruct my view. I don't like ads that cover things where I need to click something to get them by or sites that ask me for my password and email when all I want to do is why what the article was about. Give me a banner or a quick ad before a video and that is fine. I understand you need to make revenue and they're are ways to do it that do not disrupt the user experience of the person.

The Power Of A Niche

The good thing about Leo is that it has a specific focus. There are two ways to make money and that is having a large base or a decent base that is around a specific topic. For Leo, as you may have guessed, it is blockchain and finance. This means that Leo does not need the crazy numbers to make decent money from its ads. Companies now that people who use this site have a specific interest and if it matches their project then it is a wise idea to put your ads here. People would rather reach 1000 people who might like there product than 1,000 who would have no interest. You are not going to see a crypto site advertise on a site about floral designs. Leo knows its site and this can make its ads more efficient.

Ads Help the Site And You Are A Part Of The Site

When Leo does well we all do well. Not just Leo holders and users but hive holders too. And if the site does well enough even crypto as a whole benefits. We all are waiting for a dapp that goes mainstream but even running a crypto site that is profitable with ads and the bonus of a coin shows others that this is the smart way to run a new site. Why run a site with just ads when you can run an economy with it and still make the revenue from the ads you would've ran on a traditional site. The more people that use Leo and post here the more worth (in theory) that the coin will have and the better your investments will be. Thanks to crypto it is as if you own a part of the company and do well when the site does well.

Don't Be Dependent On Crypto

I have mentioned this before and I will do another post on it soon. No crypto company should depend solely on crypto. You should have a solid business plan that is bring in money that is not dependent on the price of the coin. Sure when the market is up it is good times for all but what happens when the market is down? There are a lot of companies that did not survive the last two years because they had no plan outside of crypto. And the more coins they released the worse the price got and the more upset investors got. It should be the goal of the company to get coins off the market not get them on the market. Leo gets this and ads is just one of their business plans that is bringing in revenue that has nothing to do with crypto.

And Leo uses this money for things that help us all like buybacks and burns. Ads can be annoying and I get they might make a site like aesthetic but they go a long way to help us all and if we get the numbers up on this site we can see some serious revenue that will take Leo to the next level.
