10,000HP 💪 Another Hive Milestone Reached 🐋 Celebrating With HiveWhale.com 🐳
I've reached another Hive milestone I thought previously impossible - 10,000 HP. It's been a long road to get here. 👨💻
LONG ROAD
My Hive journey has been full of ups and downs, very similar to life itself in more ways than one. I can remember the satisfaction of transitioning from Redfish to Minnow, and from Minnow to Dolphin, and now I've reached 10,000 HP, which is nothing official, just a personal milestone I've been aiming been targeting for quite some time.

I purposefully powered up just enough HIVE to make an even 10,000 HP with no decimals, just for a a memorable screenshot. I am now roughly 1/5th of the way to OrcaHood, an official milestone, but not one of my personal goals.
THE END GOAL
My ultimate goal for Hive is to reach enough HP to be able to give out 10x $1.00 upvotes per day. With HIVE's current low, that would be roughly 90,000+ HP, b but I'm hoping the prices rebounds long before I get anywhere close to that amount of HP.
With the ability to dish out several $1.00 upvotes per day, I could really financially benefit some underappreciated Hivers. Also, I could potentially delegate to all or a chunk of it to the ASEAN Hive Community, a grassroots pet project of mine that has little HP and no whale support yet.
CELEBRATING VIA "PAY FOR A SPRAY"
@RoelandP's HiveWhale.com site allows users to "Pay For A Spray", making a life-sized 18-meter-long sperm whale spout in Harlingen, the Netherlands. I payed 1 HIVE to make this whale spout, and I managed to make it happen for a couple pedestrians standing nearby.
It's a fitting way to celebrate reaching 10,000 HP, as there are no official badges or anything like that for reaching 5 digits. Every time you make the whale spray you get a cool little GIF of your spray that you can embed and/or save.
Once before I tried to make this whale spray for the @KidSisters, but there was a technical difficulty that resulted in a speedy refund. Since then we simply haven't had the time or remembered to try again, but today's momentous occasion caused me to think of this awesome way to use some liquid HIVE.
TO THE MOON
Since 2020 has been a hot mess and life has been put on hold thanks to 'rona, I view my Hive blog as being a place for mostly positive things, and a brief escape from this mad new world.
I'm sure my Hive journey going forward will be full of ups and downs, just like life, but the good far outweighs the bad, and I've made so many awesome friends because of the Hive blockchain.
