When I have to I do it, I work my way and despite my pretty nocturnal lifestyle I managed today to get out of the 9-11 and woke up before 8:00 AM. Of course that by 6:00 AM I had a road to the toilet but that doesn't counts. It's officially 8:00 AM my waking up time for today, and all that, just to see the grey face melted neurologist that I mentioned about in yesterday's post, which is tagged above.

I had a feeling that I wouldn't solve too much with this girly but I wanted to see if my intuition still works and to test where the public health care currently is. Thus I left the house at about 8:10, in a bit of a hurry, grabbed my friend's borrowed car, because it was too cold to walk to the hospital. There I entered the office/cabinet and two nurses were waiting for me. Two, not one. Imagine being a doctor with a seven hours working program and not too many patients and needing two nurses. Public healthcare...

I had to pay for my visit because I am not health ensured so I had to go to the cashier and "pay with cash" before I got to talk with the doc. As I gut felted yesterday, the doc was not in a great mood, and didn't liked at all her way of approaching me. Yes, my personal doc is very friendly but seems not very competent, but this one was...meah. She concluded as well that the spine is OK and after a few questions got to the conclusion that it's a muscle causing me pain in certain postures in my upper leg...

...and she was pretty amazed to find out that I haven't had kinetic therapy by now, since the pain occurred in October. Well, I waited for the damn MRI to tell what's all about, what type of therapy should I do. We went further down the medical discoveries and she asked about some sort of treatment and we agreed that some anti inflammatory pills might do well, but they don't go along together with my stomach. I mentioned that I use some sort of gel cream, a German one that promises to be powerful, named the "Bear's Power" and when she heard about it, just made "that face" and gave the typical indoctrinated doc line: "I don't know about that, it's plants based..."

So what if it's plants based? It's not like it's made from deadly mushrooms. What's wrong with those doctors all around the world refusing to take into consideration the healing power of plants. Yes, I am aware that a plants based treatment might take longer to see its results, than a pharmaceutical one, but it's not like they're worthy of flushing them to the toilet.

They have strong incentives to recommend their pharmaceutical shit though, that they learn about in decades of schooling, and that's material benefits. Yes, docs "accept money", or should I say stimuli, from pharmaceutical companies to promote their products. Herbs don't pay them a dime, and even if dedicated natural pharmaceutical products companies would try to do that, they wouldn't have enough funds. I worked for such a small company and I know how they struggle to pave their roads between the colossal highways of the pharma giants.

Moreover, medical students don't even learn in school about plants and herbs and liquors and stuff like that. They have chemicals and chemical reactions, they know about the side effects, but prefer to close their eyes and move forward, collecting their paychecks every month. That's not happening only in Romania, but around the whole world, and I assume that some practices we might have copied from more experienced countries. The majority of the doctors refuse to look towards alternatives and to admit that there are alternatives, quite many I would say.

Hence, such situations make me believe and repeat what I already mentioned in the 9-11 post of yesterday, that I am my best doc. Well, I need some check ups to know exactly what we're talking about but from there on it's on me. There are plenty of online resources for alternatives to choose from, and as long as you have the open eyes to discriminate and choose the right one you'll be amazed of the effects.

I bought the damn gel the doc recommended, and it's pretty much the same as most of the anti inflammatory ones and I'll give it the well deserved try. Won't buy the pills anymore though... I have curcuma, ginger, green tea, garlic and black chocolate to use em as anti inflammatory and for sure I will find some physical therapy online as well. It's 2020, the world's full of options, the internet is boiling of information and w keep on sticking to the dogmas and old paths that some old farts have nailed, in books, for thousands of students, for decades. Not me, I'm pouring myself into the glass the liquor I believe in and I'll find the right one for sure.

Thanks for attention, Adrian
