If the interview between Ned and Justine Sun was supposed to "shed some light" as to what to expect from Steemit, it did the exact opposite and I have more questions than answers.

The interview was pretty clandestine and looking at how casual the whole thing was, I couldn't shake off the feeling that we might have actually been royally fucked. Sideways.

This post wasn't meant to be a doomsday prediction by any stretch, instead, it's an opportunity to say how I feel about this situation and to keep it simple, I am confused.

Justin talked casually about his personal life, went to college, his age, background, and all the other stuff about him that's quite irrelevant and easily found on Wikipedia. It was a pretty standard "nice guy/man of the people" show and Justin played it well, a pretty good PR stunt I must say.

Ned on the other hand looked like he really didn't want to be there and you could tell from the look in his eyes. He talked about loving Steem blah blah blah but all that shit is see-through; he's cashed out and will be living it up

During the live chat that was streamed on Youtube, Twitter and the fraudulent Dlive that are currently on the Tron network, both men talked about everything BUT the most important issues and that was what got my fraud senses tingling.

Justin talked about leaving Steemit the way it is and alluded to his intention of investing a shit ton of money into Steemit. It sounds really good on paper and for the community but it sounded like the words from a politician, and as you know, they tend to tell a lot of lies.

Issues surrounding the launch of SMTs, the communities, influence on witnesses and how Steemit will align to the Tron Foundation or vice versa haven't been answered and snooping around social media is pretty futile too.

My advice; wait and see how it goes. Say what you want about Justin(and I'm sure you have a lot to say), he's a businessman that has turned Tron foundation into a money-spinning machine and while our fears of him becoming autocratic may persist, buying steemit doesn't give him that kind of power here. Let's keep our fingers crossed and see how things pan out in the end.
