Intro

I really want a Tesla as my first car! This allows me to live cheaper without a need for a car, but it also provides a long term wealth goal for me and the smell of a new car is a amazing! (How do they do it?!) I recently moved to Copenhagen from Roskilde and you just see Teslas more often here, even some Taxis are Teslas!
Everytime I see a Tesla it gives me a feeling of "proudness"* or a sense of the world moving in the right direction and I am thankful for experiencing that feeling! I also wanna be a part of the future.

I thought it would be fun to look at how much a Tesla in Denmark without insurance would cost and how much that would be in Hive, just for fun!

First step

First step was to go to Tesla, here I was greeted with an option to "build" my own Model S which I ofcause took! (Its more like just added features and changing colours)

The first thing was, I got to choose which colour I wanted my Model S to have. I choose "Red Multicoat" I am not completely sold on that Colour, I think I would need to see that in real life first, but for the sake of this post, I went for it. (ps. all of the text in the pictures are in Danish)

Long Range vs Performance

Next choice was between "Long Range" and "Performance" I choose Performance is does lose 17km, which isn't really that much and shouldn't be an issue. It does accelerate faster and goes from 0-100 in 2.5 seconds instead of 3.8 seconds! Not really sure if thats ever gonna be handy, but its still neat :p The performance version I choose is 123900 dkk*(all the Math comes later)* more expensive than the long range option.

Rims

I really don't know anything about Rims, so I went with what I thought would make me feel more cool in my Tesla that "just" owning a Tesla *(Which in itself is badass to me) I went with the 21" Sonic Carbon Twin Turbine Rims for 37700 dkk xD Because they looked the most badass hehe. I also added Winter Tires. Its a really good think to have and when winter comes around, so I didn't have to buy them later.

Premium Interior

When you are buying a car like Tesla you can easily splurge on the Interior Design and thats why I went with this clean premium interior design! I think this looks bomb and it reminds be on something pretty I never could get as a child! Its also only 12k dkk extra ;)

Buying a Tesla with Hive?

We are at the end at this fun ride! We now get into the numbers and I will answer the first question a had!
*Buying a Tesla with Hive? The total price of my Tesla is 1.074.073kr! (Thats One million 74 thousand and 73 kroners.)

With the current exchange rate, that would be 144.075,40 Euros in order to buy the Tesla I wanted! My account on Hive is currently worth 944,37 Euro. So I can see there is a looooong way before I can afford it and thats before I have calculated the Euroes into Hive.

According to @coingecko. 144.075,4 Euro is worth 587.573,613 Hive. I have 3000 Hive powered up :P This is also with the price of Hive being 4 Hive to 1 Euro, that might change in the future, but it was quite fun and I get to pick out a Tesla for myself :p
