Well like the title says it. Steemslotgames has been ported to Hive. Ported maybe isn't the correct word because it is now available on both platforms, just like Kryptogames. Let me be one of the first to welcome you on the Hive side!

Just like it's brother on the steem slot game, hiveslotgames is a little bit different than most Hive and Steem related gambling dapps. Even different then most crypto gambling dapps. Most gambling dapps do give you the opportunity to buy a share of the house or earn it by playing. The more know mining. Hiveslotgames doesn't give you this opportunity. Therefor it is probably less appealing to most gambling dapps. (@hiveslotgames or @steemslotgames will this become a feature or are there no plans about this?) Too bad because they deserve more of attention.

Well the layout is just stunning. All other gambling dapps on this blockchain are running far behind! Almost light-years behind!

The games

Most gambling dapps offer around 2 o 4 games. But not Hiveslotgames. They have more or less 3 different sections.

The slots

This were it all started for them. There first slot Steemerald Fortune has been renamed to Gate of Fortune in the Hive versions. And also Steem Stone has been rebranded to Hive Stone. One minor thingy here. I don't like the Hive Stone, the red doesn't suit it. Also when opening the information page on this slot. The page is still talking about the steem stone which is wild, which should be the Hive Stone of course.

Classics

In the Classics section, one can find the more common casino games, like Roulette, Black Jack and Video poker.

I tried the Black Jack and the Video Poker game and had some fun. Didn't have time to check the Roulette Table.

Dice

And of course they also have the more or less mandatory Dice game.

Deposits?

Just like on the steem version, one has to deposit some Hive before one can play. In contrast to the others were you can just play from out of your wallet. I have been thinking about this approach a lot these days. Not so much about hiveslotgames, but in general. There are pros and cons about this. But the more I do think about it, the more positive things I do see. The two biggest advantages of this method is that one cannot loose more Hive than they want to. When the gaming account has dried up, it takes some time to do the deposit actions again, which could give a gambler some new insights. Secondly it doesn't require a lot of Resource credits from the players.

There is of course also the downside that when you do deposit the Hive isn't in your account anymore, meaning that you don't control it anymore. But I do think that we can trust HiveSlotGames.

Special feature

They will probably have claimed some accounts with their resource credits, which allows them to create Hive Accounts for the new players. One thing which the other gambling dapps are missing at the moment.
