The closer we get to the release of Hive the more excited I get. Not only for the future of the Hive blockchain, but for also all the apps that will be supporting Hive.

Shoutout to the Dapps Supporting Hive

If you haven't already joined the Hive Discord I'm hoping this link I'm sharing will work, but it looks like it might be a discord link. I'm sure someone @hiveio can also help you out as well. If you a Dapp thinking about joining Hive I also found this link as well which is a Guideline for Dapps

In case you can't get to the discord channel, some of the Apps and Communities that I most excited about making the switch are as follows:

  • Curation communities such as Curie, OCD, Curangel, and C-Squared will all be making the switch which is awesome for good content producers. These are the best curation communities that I'm aware of and I'm sure they'll be on the lookout every day for new great content.
  • Keychain, SteemAuto, and Dlease are all tools that I've used on Steem that I'm glad are making the switch as well. Keychain is going to be huge to make using different Dapps easier without having to remember that long passphrase. SteemAuto and Dlease are great ways to support community members while earning passive income.
  • Actifit, 3speak, TeamAustralia, ESteem, and SteemitWorldMap to just name a few, are some of the communities and different front ends that will be making the transition. I'm very excited about ESteem and having a mobile-friendly way to access the Hive. I'm also excited about different ways of earning Hive through these different applications such as sharing my workouts with Actifit.

I'm not leaving any application out on purpose and there are a ton more on the list on the discord server, so if you want to see what other apps will be supporting the switch to Hive join the Discord and check it out.

Dapps Pushing Beyond

I really like what I saw with the SteemPeak update and hope a few others follow suit. I really hope a few of these projects start to push beyond Hive and Steem to test if they can stand on their own.

I think this will be great for these projects and for Hive as well if they're able to do this. I've never published on Publish0x yet, but if "SteemPeak" creates an interface to Publis0x where I can read, comment, and upvote on Steem, Hive, and Publish0x all from one interface (don't know if this is even possible) that would be incredible for all 3 sites.

It would allow Steem and Hive users to get more exposure to Publish0x as well as Publish0x users to get more exposure to Steem and Hive. I would hope this would allow SteemPeak to grow and get more monetary support as well so they can continue being a leader in what user interfaces should look like on these platforms and keep pushing ahead.

I've heard Steem Leo is looking to do the same thing as well, but haven't had a chance to read/listen to their update yet. My feeling is if they are, more power to them as they've been an awesome and supportive community, pushing what it means and looks like to be a great community on the Steem Platform.

Bullish on the Future

I haven't touched on @splinterlands yet because it seems like their future is very much up in the air and they're waiting until all the chaos calms down. When you're dealing with around $3 million of other people's property I'd take the slow and steady approach as well.

Once again I'd like to see a future when they continue to grow and support other blockchains and cryptos to further grow their community and would love to see @splinterlands supporting Hive as well as Steem.

Personally, I'm much more bullish on Hive and think it has an awesome future. I will be spending most if not all my time on Hive creating, curating, and engaging in great content. I think the more these Hive Dapps are ready to grow and expand the even more bullish it will be for onboarding new people to the Swarm and feel like I have a direction back.

Thanks to all those that have been working hard behind the scenes that don't get the credit they deserve as well. I would love to see a post on Hive in the future giving credit to these people somehow and a little glimpse into all the hard work and time they've put into making this happen.

Swarm on!
