I don't fancy being out at night. Nope, I'm not exactly scared ๐Ÿ˜; well maybe a little, because the town isn't safe. But being out at night feels a bit weird for me. So personally, you won't catch me outside my house once it's past 8pm; to say the least. Well, not today though.

My colleague suggested that we took a stroll. And also get some stuff from a grocery store. Oh! We needed to make fruit salad so we had to go to the night fruit stand too. And so we dressed up and got to strolling.

Port-Harcourt is a pretty busy city. Not as busy as Lagos though. But then due to the pandemic and curfew, Lagos now sleeps, same as Port-Harcourt. We were out just when it was about to be curfew time. So there was quite a rush around the area.

It was a fun sight to see though. People trying to rush home to beat the curfew, traders trying to make late night sales, couples holding hands and walking home. It was all good to see.

After 10-15 minutes of strolling, we arrived at the fruit stand, and got to the fruit purchase. We let the woman in our midst do the bargaining though. We guys suck at bargaining properly.

After several minutes of bargaining, we came a conclusion, bought the items we need and left for the house. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

What I failed to tell you though was that I was pretty fun in the bargaining process. I had a casual conversation with the seller's daughter. She was really pretty, although more strict with prices than her mom. It didn't stop me from admiring her though ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜. Well, all the admiration ended as soon as we left the stand.

We walked back home, but made a stop at the grocery store to get some goodies, and then we went straight home. What ana amazing night it has been. I'm sure I'll be taking night strolls more often from now on.

The end of my true story ๐Ÿ˜
