Some lifestyle photos I created with my Smartphone while assisting a photo session for a new hair salon brand.

If you asked how my day went, I'll say it was a mixture of fun, stress, and colors. It was fun because I'm excited about anything photography related. It was stressful because I was assisting the main photographer and I had to do all the light handling and stuff. Colors because I created a new colorgrading preset.

My good friend hit me up last night and sought my assistance for a photo session today. His client; a new hair salon brand, contacted him to create lifestyle portraits that will serve as content to push the brand on social media platforms.

The ambience and style of the salon left me awed. I don't often visit female salons, but I haven't ever been to one as big and cool as this one. The most amazing things about the place was the lighting and some wallframes of powerful women. It was such an amazing sight.

As soon as the model arrived we got to work. But while I wasn't holding the light for my friend, I brought my phone out and activated the smartphone photographer in me. I realized I have lost my Smartphone photography skills though. But then I compensated my lack of skill with colors & tones; something I'm quite good at now.

I shot a lot of random stuff, but these ones were my favorites;

All the photos were shot and edited on my Smartphone. Redmi Note 7 precisely. I color graded with a new preset I created today; I don't have a name for it yet.

I got back home few hours ago. I was physically tired, but "tired" feels so good when I create good stuff.
