Hypocricy of CoinMarketCap on the ranking of Hive, even after Huobi has listed it!

3 centralised exchanges

Yep, it is also a weird way of hypocricy, but to get an honest listing on CMC (CoinMarketCap), you need to be listed on 3 different centralised exchanges. That is the reason why CMC lists Hive on place 200+. We were only listed on Bittrex, Ionomy, and some Decentralised exchanges or DEX. At least, that was the official explanation on twitter by someone from CMC, when @themarkymark asked the question why Hive wasn't in the top 100, based on its market capitalisation.

Now, flash forward to today, Huobi has listed Hive, and in the meanwhile price of Hive is soaring. Up to 0.33 $, last time I watched a few minutes ago. And what do we see? Hive is still at place 213 in the list of CMC. While it should actually be at the 54th spot, based on a market capitalisation of 97 million USD. How hypocrite is that, by CoinMarketCap?

Justin Sun and Binance

Or should we search for other incentives by CMC behind this? Could it have something to do with the purchase of CMC by Binance? And the still ongoing rivalry between Steem (Justin Sun) and Hive, and the close connections between Justin Sun and Binance? I hope not, but I fear it does. And that is just sad, really. When a news site, because that is actually what CMC is, wants to be taken seriously, it has to stay unbiased. And that is where it kind of goes wrong at the moment. Let's hope it changes soon, but I fear it won't...

Still, way to go Hive! Let's make some decent money now!

Sincerely,
