The ignorance of the globalization

Nothing is created and nothing is destroyed.

The well-known law of conservation of Lavoisiere's mass soon became a pseudo-philosophical mantra, coming out of the physical-mathematical sphere and assuming very different connotations.

A cult phrase, a done sentence.

The border is thin.

Often this phrase is used without knowing its real meaning.

In a world dominated by personalisms the Lavoisieran postulate is now more than ever questioned.

We can create and destroy wealth.

It takes us years to build a reputation that can be destroyed with a tweet or fake news.

We can create a job and destroy it. We can build a house and destroy it with a crane. We can literally create anything and destroy it five seconds later.

So please stop using that phrase as if it could actually mean something in the non-physical-mathematical universe. We live in the time of improvised professors, those who talk about chemistry after watching an episode of Breaking Bad or cooking after spending 2 hours with Cannavacciuolo, those who talk about football tactics because they've been fans of a team for years and those who talk about music because they love X Factor.

The only thing we are destroying is culture, knowledge, competence.

Books ripped out in the name of a culture by the hour, of knowledge in pills, of knowledge by the hour, of knowledge by consumption.

We are who we are and therefore we are more and more miserable, more and more superficial, more and more scandalously ignorant.

And yet we fill our blogs, our facebook pages with aphorisms and noble quotations, only to then turn the people and ourselves against an immigrant, take it out on the poorest of us, idolize people more cunning than us but less virtuous than us and feel better every day that passes while becoming less human and intelligent.

It is the globalisation of ignorance where everything is created and everything is destroyed. With disarming ease and without any hesitation.

Nulla si crea e nulla si distrugge.

La nota legge di conservazione della massa di Lavoisiere ben presto è diventato un mantra pseudo-filosofico fuoriuscendo dall'ambito fisico-matematico e assumendo connotati molto diversi.

Una frase cult, una frase fatta.

Il confine è sottile.

Spesso si usa questa frase senza conoscerne il significato reale.

In un mondo dominato da personalismi il postulato Lavoisierano è ora più che mai messo in discussione.

La ricchezza possiamo crearla e distruggerla.

Ci mettiamo anni a costruire una reputazione che può essere distrutta con un tweet o una fake news.

Possiamo creare un lavoro e distruggerlo. Possiamo costruire una casa e distruggerla con una gru. Possiamo creare letteralmente qualsiasi cosa e distruggerla 5 secondi dopo.

Quindi per favore smettiamola di usare questa frase come se potesse davvero significare qualcosa nell'universo non fisico-matematico. Viviamo nel tempo dei professoroni improvvisati, quelli che parlano di chimica dopo aver visto una puntata di Breaking Bad o di cucina dopo aver passato 2 ore in compagnia di Cannavacciuolo, quelli che parlano di tattica calcistica perchè sono tifosi di una squadra da anni e quelli che parlano di musica perchè amano X Factor.

L'unica cosa che stiamo distruggendo è la cultura, la conoscenza, la competenza.

Mallopponi di libri strappati in nome di una cultura ad ore, di una conoscenza in pillole, di un sapere a consumo.

Siamo quel che siamo e quindi siamo sempre più miseri, sempre più superficiali, sempre più scandalosamente ignoranti.

Eppure riempiamo i nostri blog, le nostre pagine facebook di aforismi e citazioni nobili, salvo poi aizzare il popolo e noi stessi contro un immigrato, prendercela con i più poveri di noi, idolatrare gente più scaltra di noi ma meno virtuosa di noi e sentirci migliori ogni giorno che passa pur divenendo ogni giorno meno umani e intelligenti.

E' la globalizzazione dell'ignoranza dove tutto si crea e tutto si distrugge. Con facilità disarmante e senza alcuna remora.
