Dear Hivers,

In this article, you will see 15 ways to make the Hive club stronger than ever. These are simple ideas you can explore right now. It includes a mix of tips, tricks, and challenges. Applicable for both new and old users.

In fact, as you scan through them, you will find some ideas are easy. Some interesting. And some new. So go through the list and pick what you love.

#1: Start by expanding your boundary [Tip] πŸŽ‰

For new users: This is the most obvious yet important fact. You see, as a new user there is a good chance you are in love with yourself. You love your profile β€” your wallet β€” and your notifications. Self-love is great.

But you may want to get out of your profile β€” and explore what’s out there. This is the first important step: to expand your boundary. To remember that Hive is a social blockchain.

#2: Explore new communities [Tip] πŸŽ‰

How do you expand your boundaries? By exploring new communities. @Peakd has a page that shows you featured communities along with popular communities.

Go on a hunt and find new communities. Subscribe to them. In fact, you will be surprised with some of the new ones out there.

#3: Pick a goal β€” and smash it. [Challenge] πŸ’ͺ

Select your Hive goal and then achieve it.

A goal can be as simple as publishing an article every week β€” or earning 10 Hives per day. Leaving 5 comments per day? Pick anything you like and achieve that goal.

My personal goal was to write every single day for the next 30 days. I am on day 41 now β€” exceeded the goal.

#4: Check out the new dapps. [Tip] πŸŽ‰

You already know some of the popular dapps. But it gets even better as many new ones are here. Check them out:

For more Hive dapps, go to: Hivedapps.com / HiveProjects (currently down)

#5: Power up at least once… [Challenge] πŸ’ͺ

Add Hive to your wallet. Then power it up. If you find that risky, then take the risk. So much in life is lost for no reason. So take this small risk. And power up at least once this month β€” even if it is 10 Hive.

Feel free to follow the #hivepud challenge as well.

#6: Attend Hive live events [Tip] πŸŽ‰

Yes. They do exist β€” and it happens mostly on Sundays. On Discord channels. I attended a live music concert and absolutely loved it. There is no β€œone place” to find them all though.

You can still visit this old post to find the schedule. Join the group and participate next time.

#7: Write your best guide [Challenge] πŸ’ͺ

Sure, Hive is a censorship-resistant platform but it is also your playground to share anything and everything. So produce a content that has been hidden in your heart β€” for weeks, months, and years. And then publish it here.

I call it the ultimate guide. Because, you see, we all know something in life. If you can take it out and spread it, you will see new miracles.

Additional tip: Use subheads β€” write short paragraphs β€” pick simple punctuations β€” and sprinkle unique images. All this will collectively make your content a delight to read.

#8: Increase your achievements [Challenge] πŸ’ͺ

HiveBuzz makes it incredibly easy to check your achievements. Just go here and enter your username β€” you will find all your badges. See what β€œnew” can you achieve this month.

#9: Browse new faces [Challenge] πŸ’ͺ

Once in a while, I love visiting the #introduceyourself tag. It is a great place to see why people join β€” and their motivation behind it. This is a challenge because we often forget our surroundings.

#10. Connect with someone new [Tip] πŸŽ‰

One way to do this is through the search bar. Try typing in your city or country name. See what comes up. Read the article. Follow the person.

#11. Participate in a challenge [Challenge] πŸ’ͺ

There are photography challenges. Even engagement challenges. And #hive5 on Twitter. Participate in a challenge for your own growth.

Also, browse through contests. This #contest tag is all you need to find new contests.

#12. Tip someone you love. [Challenge] πŸ’ͺ

No matter how small or bigβ€” a tip is a great way to make anyone smile. I will never forgot the Hive tip I received on my birthday for a cake β€” and I always remember every tip I receive through articles. Really: It is the thought that counts, isn’t it?

How to send a tip: Use @Peakd. Or transfer through your Hive wallet.

#13: Don’t forget to encourage others… [Challenge] πŸŽ‰

Buddha talks about the power of giving β€” and why giving changes your life. It is true even here. And in life. So if you can give something, always give encouragement β€” leave them inspired.

You can always vote or add motivation in your comments and articles. Even a compliment works.

Remember: What looks something simple to you is often a profound thought for someone new. Add motivation in your post β€” inspire and move people. This is a way to contribute to the society.

#14: Recommend ONE person [Challenge] πŸ’ͺ

To join Hive.

It could be anyone β€” online of offline. You can also use Hiveonboard to create a referral link.

#15: Celebrate your time [Challenge] πŸ’ͺ

Challenge? YES. As adults, we forget the simple pleasures of life. And did you know: it is also World Chocolate Day today? So take a break and celebrate your time β€” break that KitKat and add more sweetness to life.

Let's also not look for the wrong β€” rather appreciate the variety. Just celebrate your time within community. Be raw, real, and authentic. And be enthusiastic and positive.

Just have a good time, you see.

Wow.

That's quite a list, isn't it?

So there you have it... 15 important tips and challenges you can try to take your Hive experience to the next level.

From setting goals to browsing and participating in this ever-growing community... these 15 tips are a mixed bag of ideas.

One key point to remember: Hive is a self-fulfilling system.

You add value to the Hive ecosystem. And it adds value back to you. That's why I thought it would be fun to create this list.

And with this, we complete this article. Once again, I hope and wish you found them useful. Took me a lot of time. So pick what you like, try them out, and see what comes out of it.

Cheers, Sid
