A Penny Or Two For My Thoughts?
It's a pretty cool Saturday and I'm seated on my bed thinking about money. I just spent more than I normally would at a go on monthly data subscription because I'm trying not to mince. I got 10gig for $7.00. Is that outrageous or not bad? The more data you buy, the more value you get. My little internet data extravagance had me dipping into my savings for a phone so now I need a couple more HBDs to get that phone.
I'm also thinking about my bus fare travelling home next week. The prices have gone up a bit because of the corona brouhaha and I have no idea if I'd be getting any footing concerning the fare. If I don't, that would mean cutting in on the phone savings again. I hope my family sends me something though. If they don't, I won't ask cause I hate having to ask for money.
I don't wanna think about money issues too much though, I have a headache already and don't need any more. Hopefully I get good upvotes the coming weeks and don't have to beat myself up over being broke. And yeah, I've basically been living off my hive earnings for a while.
I'm hungry and wish I could eat Nigerian jollof rice and coleslaw right now. I also would like some banana smoothie and maybe a chocolate cake. I could easily get these at the mall but I need money for that dammit!
