Ethereum has turned 5 so let's talk a bit about ethereum platform and its token called ETH

Ethereum is one of the most popular platforms because of its smart contract offering. It also has shown tremendous growth in its price and also the adoption of its platform for the various project launch. Many of ICO project prefer to build their ERC-20 tokens on their platform. There have also been cases where some projects were started on ethereum's smart contact platform first before developing their blockchain. After bitcoin, this is ranked in the second place in coinmarketcap website.

Ethereum is an open-source platform where developers can build various DApps (decentralized applications). Vitalik Buterin started the consent of Ethereum blockchain in the year 2013 and its first block went live on the year 2015.
Its native currency name is Ether (ETH) and we can have it through two ways-

1- Mining

Ether is mineable and its mining works proof-of-work (PoW) concept. They have a plan to implement proof-of-stake but there is no information about it as of now and the only POW is available for miners.

2-Buying from Exchanges

If you can not mine then the second and last way to have ETH is to buy from exchanges. Its listed in almost every exchange where bitcoin is listed and using your FIat or other crypto tokens you can buy and store in your wallet.

Price History and Growth of ETH

Here I am sharing the historical chart of ETH and it was started with approx $1 price mark and its all-time high was $1432. So whoever purchased ETH that time even just for 1k USD and did not sell off until Jan 2018 then he became a millionaire.

I made my entry in crypto in the third quarter of 2017 and that time ETH price was about 200 USD but I did not buy that time. I missed that chance bought it when it was higher in the last of the year 2017. There have been many ups and downs in the price of ETH token but this coin and platform always looked promising to me and worth investing.

Its not a financial advisor in anyways and if you are going to do some investment then please do your research and here I have shared my thoughts and opinion about the Ethereum project and its ETH token. Choosing the right project to be part of is not easy and some people make the right choice at the right and some dont. Those who make an early decision then most of the time they make a good profit out of it
