We live in a world where there is such much noise, almost everyone is speaking and a little people are listening. The difference between the speakers and the listeners is usually reflecting through the decisions they make, since it is only few people that are listening they are the few people that achieve or acquire success faster, recorded success has been attributed greatly to being able to harness the power of silence and knowing how to speak appropriately.

Reacting too fast to questions on some occasions could make us do something we would not want to do normally, someone you secretly admire at work may come to you and ask you for a date and out of excitement you quickly say yes forgetting you were supposed to go home to take care of your sick Mum right after work and because you have hurriedly said, you are left with the option of either cancelling the date or leaving your sick Mum to be by herself but if you had taken a few seconds to reflect before giving a response, you would save yourself some stress.

Harnessing the power of a brief silence gives you reasons to only give a positive affirmation to the task you are capable of doing, it is not possible to do everything at the same time and learning how to stay silent before accepting a duty will make people have a better trust in the things you say. Telling five people that you will get them a product they had requested when you are certain you may not have it, will make you look like a liar the next time they come to check but with the certainty that you can only get three and your words prove true you will be able to win the hearts of so many loyal customers.

There is a great admiration for those who make a lot of point from the little things they say, working hard to gain success means you will have to train yourself to make a lot of point from the little things that you say rather than saying several things at a time and not making any sense. Learning the impact of silence will make your employees respect you more, they know you have the ability to think over the decisions properly before you tell them what to do.

Both as a business owner or an employee, the noise that daily life brings to the table is endless and the most appropriate thing to do to gain your sanity is to take a break from all of those daily noise and reflect over your business goals and vision.
