Hello friends!

Two weeks ago, he wrote a publication outlining AT & T's decision to close Directv operations in Venezuela, leaving thousands of users without access to the service; Today, although in a different area than the previous one and under different conditions, another multinational announces the closure of a service that benefits thousands of compatriots.

The US financial services company Wells Fargo announced this Thursday, through emails sent to its clients in the country, that it will eliminate access to Zelle to its users domiciled in Venezuela.

What we know so far.

"As of June 26, @WellsFargo eliminates access to Zelle to clients with registered addresses in Venezuela," journalist Arnaldo Espinoza wrote on his Twitter account.

"Thousands of people with accounts domiciled in Venezuela are receiving this email," added Espinoza.

In the email mentioned, the US company specifies that the settlement is based on article 28b) of the Wells Fargo Online Service contract and section 6.B of the Zelle service contract, where the conditions of service are specified.

Although some assure that the measure is due to the misuse that is being given to this service, that the accounts are intended to facilitate, send and receive money between acquaintances, particularly for sending remittances and not to make payments to businesses.

However, the company has not disclosed the reasons for its decision in an official statement, all we know so far is that the measure will take effect on June 26, according to what is read in the email received by the clients of this company. .

Although they are apparently isolated events, the reality is that another window is closed for the Venezuelan, more barriers are raised that make our independence more difficult.
