Automation and Human Jobs, What Solution do you Profer to Human-Automation Job Problem
The world we are in is a work in progress for the nearest future, the age of the second machine where humans do not have to control rather they will be doing it themselves and perfectly. Around the world, there are billions of people who work traditionally from barbers, engineers, bar and restaurant attendance, drivers and many more but how will the future of work look like? Today, we have robots and AI virtually everywhere, helping us with things from Grocery stores, cars, mobile phones, manufacturing, and even emulate humans like with singing.
Technology is changing the way we do things from social media, virtual assistance and so on, now technology is going to affect our jobs. As good as technology is and the importance of robots and automation, it is no doubt that this will disrupt a lot of jobs creating a scenario where people do not have a job. A workforce where people will not be in a company or a factory is what the future is looking into, it is going to be a future that will automate everything that can be automated and allow robots will AI do jobs on their own.
What do you think will happen to human jobs in 2040? So much will happen that humans will be forced to stay at home and do nothing since repetitive jobs, administrative support and predictive jobs are even more predictable to go. I guess your job falls under one of this and if it does, then you need to brace up yourself for the worse. Do not forget that AI and Robots do not request vacation, leaves, resting time and lunch cutting out a lot of expenses. Some industry like the IT, Customer service and non-predictive advance management will have to be on the rise.
It isn’t the first time that machines have been taking over people’s job, it started as far as the textile industry revolution and there have always been a way around it. One of the way we can solve artificial intelligence and automation taking our jobs is to work in synergy. Others includes Universal Basic Income, where people will have to get paid for doing nothing or in a better word, people get paid for being alive.
We can’t change the revolution coming, we can only work with it to create a better world. It is no doubt that a lot of jobs will be lost, but at the same time a few people will find a way to survive it. So what happens to the rest of the people, how can we solve the automation and human issues regarding job loss.
