A Personal Experience Of Where Self-Motivation Is Required As A Small Business Owner.

Hello friends, how are you doing today? I welcome you once again to my blog and I am excited to see you, I have not posted for days now and that is because there was a high voltage power supply that destroyed the charger to my system so I had to get it fixed before I could work, it was really annoying but I fixed it already and I am back to work again.

Today we are going to talk about the necessity of self- motivation for every entrepreneur, like I have mentioned several times, the road to building a great business from scratch is not an easy one, it is a road that is lined with difficulties and stress, it is however necessary to keep building this business until we are finally able to hit the mark we desire.

Personal Experience.

I told you that I started a new project some days ago, this is a project I have been looking up to link with my business, I had the plans drawn out and the request for this service has been high from my end so I was anticipating high returns once I start the business, I got someone to loan me the funds for the business last week and I was really excited to start the business with very high expectations.

Today makes it a week since my friend borrowed me the money to pay back in two months’ time and with my calculation, I should hit a certain profit mark on a weekly basis so that I can pay him back conveniently after two months but guess what happened, the mark I planned to hit on a daily basis did not come through as planned. At some point I felt discouraged and weak and I began to wonder if I was right to start this business in the first place, the most annoying part is that a lot of people have been requesting for this service for a long time and now that I have started, I cannot seem to find them.

Reality and self-motivation.

Now, the reality is, during the period when I was unable to offer this service another person started offering the service and when people come to me with high expectations, they end up going to my competitor since the service was unavailable at my end and this made a lot of my customers believe that I no longer offer the service, so I should not be expecting an immediate magic to have them back after all. I have however decided to stay strong, I have great belief in what I have just started and even if the turnover is not as expected, it is not so bad after all and more people are getting more aware every day.

I should look for a system of awareness to bring them back and let them know that the service is now available then my customer service skill needs to be on point to retain them, this is what I plan to do for now but if you have any other suggestion you think I should put in place please let me know through the comment section.
