Powering up 1500 HIVE. This is my long term investment. #HPUD
Since first getting involved with crypto currency 3 years ago I have come a long way in building my knowledge.
From only knowing that Bitcoin is a crypto currency I have done a deep dive into all sorts of interesting areas over those past few years. I have seen projects come and go. I have seen great ideas fail and great promises failed.
I post monthly about my journey to hold a full Bitcoin through online earnings and dollar cost averaging. I am also working my way to becoming an Orca on hive.
From a zero starting point I now have a ledger with my crypto holdings, have a solid knowledge of nft’s, defi, blockchain, decentralization, dapps, web3 and a whole lot more interesting concepts. I will be starting a new college course in January titled, “Blockchain for business” and hope to have a career in the industry at some stage.
All of this has been built from discovering a way to blog on hive three years ago. Something as simple as being rewarded for your content has led to what will hopefully be a very successful career in a brand new technology.
Out of all the interesting concepts and blockchains that I have discovered along the way, there is still nothing to my mind that can compete with hive and what is being built on it.
All you have to do is pay attention and look at what is happening on the chain right now. While the price is still dropping that doesn’t concern me as I am looking at the long term potential of the chain.
With it’s fast, free transactions we have possibilities that others can only dream of. We have resources that other projects are trying to add over the next few years. We are constantly seeing new developments that improve our ease of use and upgrade the chain for more development. That is the part I am most concerned about. Is the chain getting better.
For me it’s a resounding yes.
Look at the new additions like @nftshowroom. Games like @cryptobrewmaster and @rabona. These will all add to the future of the chain. Groups like the @leofinance team are leading the way for others to follow.
Success follows success. Who isn’t looking at that team right now and saying, Why can’t we do the same. Every success is a step for the next group to build upon.
We are seeing new options like chat being rolled out soon for hive. New partnerships like Ark are getting involved. Lots of positive steps are being taken.
Over all my time in crypto I have yet to see a project that has what we have here. It’s a long way form perfect but it is the best that is out there right now and getting better. That is why I keep adding to my investment and if I had the money would add even more. This is for 5 years down the line which is how we need to see projects and not just looking at the price in real time.
This is the building and accumulation stage for when we explode. And we will explode.
All we have to do is keep building the right tools and people will come to use them.
