No attack monsters?? Showcasing Tank at Splinterlands Battle challenge

It's been over 3 months since I have caged myself along with my family amid the COVID-19 pandemic. I hope all of you are safe too and I would suggest following all the procedure unless you are in a green zone.
Meanwhile, I am more active on Splinterlands than ever nowadays! I am playing and completing quests every day with all three accounts. Even while writing this post, I am trying to reach next tiers on another tab.
Moreover, Besides playing ranked matches and tournaments, I also try to write quality posts for the Splinterlands curation challenges. Every week we use to get one Splinterlands to share your battle weakly challenge post and many Splinterlands players worldwide actively participate in this post writing contest. Last week it was about Blast ability and I wrote a post about Pirate Archer and Electric Eel,t who are my favourite blast monsters currently.
But this week, something unique came up!
I was wondering what would be this week's ability to battle with as in previous posts, we have seen different abilities like a blast, sneak or opportunity etc. But when the post got out, I got stunt by the thumbnail! NO attack? What's that? Well, no attack simply sounds like the cards that don't attack. The first thing that usually would come into mind first is those tank cards with no attack power. For example - Lord A, Gelatinous Cube, Peaceful Giant or Failed Summoner etc.
But are they really that peaceful? Apart from Peaceful Giant, Gelatinous cube and Warrior of peace, all others automatically attack back to certain enemies because of their abilities. Yes, I am talking about Throne and Reflector ability within Lord A, which many times help us to kill the opponent's sneak monsters or the magic ones. The failed summoner can also kill those little magic pixxies with her reflector ability. So, is it absolutely fare to call them no attacker? lolz...
Anyways, defending yourself cannot be considered as an attack at all. As long as the Lord staying in his tube sleeping, you can not charge him as an attacker, even if he had thrown back your magic.
So guys, this time, I am going with the famous intergalactic warrior, the great and powerful Lord Aihanthus! I am holding a max Lord for quite a long time by now. I maxed him when he got released in the reward cards. Back then, it was a golden time in Splinterlands with fewer bots and farming and I luckily got several Lords from daily quest reward chests. I only had to buy 3-4 to make it max as far as I remember. Not only me But I bet every single person who is well known with the Lord loves it best as a tank card Especially when the opponent is using magic or melee monsters.
At max level, the Lord can become a real pain to opponents. Even after releasing so many different types of cards, Lord still rules the battlefield for his unmatched set of powers. At max level, he possesses 9 health at 1 speed with 4 abilities as shown below.

Shield- Take reduced damage from Melee and Ranged attacks. -
Void- Reduced damage from Magic attacks. -
Reflector- When hit by magic, reflects a portion as damage back to the attacker. -
Throne- When get hit by a melee attack, it does Damage back to the attacker.
Currently, you can grab a max Lord at 82.5$ also a 3% cashback if you buy it from Monstermarket Shop. It feels good to see my favourite tank card is still holding a pricy value on himself.

RulesetSo, It was aHealed Out( All healing abilities are removed from monsters and summoners ) +Broken Arrows( Range monsters cannot be used in this battle). It's a high mana match and I shall go for a water deck with the lord at front. -
Mana countThis high mana match holds high mana cap! -
SummonersThis battle supports Fire, water and Dragon summoners.
At this much mana cap, after using the summoner and the Lord card, I will be left with 38 mana which ables me to use all my high mana magic cards. I am pretty much dependable on Lord and I hope he will save me upto 3-4 rounds. I will try to choose all the rest 5 places with magic monsters with the Alric Water summoner.
Line-Up
LORD ARIHANTHUS
I chose Lord Arihanthus in the first place so that it would consume a few good attacks from my opponent and also damage them back. I have a max level Lord in my collection I am totally dependant on it when it comes to playing with water summoner.
PRISMATIC ENERGY
I chose prismatic energy at the second place for its high health with void and reflector ability. At high mana matches, opponents tend to go with big magic monsters so Prismatic Energy will protect the frontal defence with great effort having Lord with his side.
MISCHIEVOUS MERMAID
I chose the mermaid in the third position. Mermaid is famous for her high magic attack at high speed with evading ability to protect herself from the enemy monsters.
SEA GENIE
I chose Sea Genie in the fourth place. I like the genie for his flying and the Strengthen ability which gives +1 HP to all friendly monsters.
RULER OF THE SEAS
I placed Ruler at the fifth position which I think is the most secure place in a game with magic monsters. The ruler is still my best water card for his unmatched abilities.
PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS
Phantom is my newest card to the water collection and I placed him at the last position. Currently, I only have a level 2 Phantom but still, it is giving a lot of features ith 3 magic attack. Looks like I have to make him max ASAP.
Result
First, let us follow the opponent's line-up...
- My opponent @hammers used Death summoner Zintar against me.
- At the front position, he used Goblin Mech lev 9. He chose a big defence to his front but I think my magic throwers can handle him well.
- At the second position, he used Bone Golem level 7.
- At the third position, he puts prismatic energy lev 7.
- At the fourth position, he chose Phantom Soldier lev 5 to give -1 magic to my monsters, he got me well here.
- At the fifth position, he chose Magi Sphinx lev 5.
- At the last position, he chose the Spirit miner lev 4 to cover his back.

Well, it was a brave match and both of our monsters fought well. My opponent chose Death Summoner to decrease my melee attack but as I didn't choose any melee monsters, I was on the + side.
Secondly, He used 2 high mana melee defenders at his front but they didn't have that much large heath or any healer to save them from multiple high magic attacks per round. Within the 1st quarter of the second round, both of his melee monsters got down by my continuous magic attack.
Lastly, his Phantom Soldier and Prismatic Energy really did a great job in the field, Specially the Phantom Soldier decreased all my magic monster's attack power by one which really affected my total attack power. But as his magic monsters were continuously getting hit by my lord, they were helpless to stay alive for a long time.
The credit really goes to Lord Arihanthus as he protected all other friendly monsters up to level 3 before dying and also did a good number of reflection damage to the enemy monsters. The Ruler Of the Seas also performed very well and for his Silenced ability, the opponent's magic monsters were less powerful the whole time. At last, it's all of their teamwork that gifted me with the victory.
