Welcome to the Abundance.Tribe's Weekly Curation, where I (@trucklife-family) get to showcase some of the great Articles that the tribe members posted and that really embody what the Tribe stands for.

The AbundanceTribe, formally know as TribeSteemUp community was created by @kennyskitchen. As we have moved to Hive we wanted to create a new name that really represents what we are all about. The Abunadance.Tribe is a Community Abundance Generator, which supports authors who write articles that look at ways in which we can become more empowered and create a more peaceful and free world.

The authors who have been chosen to become part of the TribeSteemUp community are all writing content of high quality, and they all focus on topics related to the bettering of life, such as:

| Anarchy | Non-Violence | Philosophy | Veganism | Mindfulness | | Community Empowerment | Love | Original Music | Esotericism | | Healthy Recipes | Psychedelics | Truth | Permaculture |

Today I have a total of 15 articles to share, that are all about inspiring us and motivating us to become more aware in our daily lives. Life is all about learning, evolving and being mindful in all that we do. By coming together and engaging with one another we can all share our wisdom and empower one another. We can create the world in which we all wish to live. Happy reading and remember to show your appreciation by upvoting and commenting. You can go one step further by following the TribeVibes Curation Trail, this way way you are supporting all the great authors who are creating quality content.

In these times when people have been isolated for a time, one of the kindest things you could do is to hold space for them and listen. In doing that you can benefit too! You may find you come away knowing them better. People can reveal a lot about themselves so if you want to understand them, know their motives, dreams and desires, then listen more closely. The ability to listen attentively is not a skill set held by everyone but is often listed as a desired skill set. In listening to a person you can gain insights like: • Learning their expectations for themselves and if they have them for you • It can help build better relationships with friends & family and also coworkers • Helps in being able to resolve issues quicker

Efficience Is The Name of the Game This principle should be a no-brainer, which not only investors and business owners will recognize, but anyone who believes in efficiency. That is reaping the greatest possible reward for the least possible input. There is really nothing wrong with this attitude, as it pays off being on the constant lookout for improved ways of doing things... as long as we don't compromise the long-term stability for short-term gains, which our modern industry and business tends to do. So let's take a look at how this principle can be applied on the homestead.

The wheel has turned again on our journeys around the sun. Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we just passed the summer solstice, or the longest day of the year. Saturday's astronomical holiday was everything we could have asked for here on our little homestead. We observed silence until noon as we prayed for peace, we ate watermelon, we sang, we had fire and communed with a few friends to celebrate the wheel turning, our son's 7th birthday, and the traditions of our Katuah Family Gather. It was strange to be at home as we do our best to attend our annual regional rainbow gathering centered around the solstice, but our home is indeed sacred ground so it was easy to still share in magic and love.

Privilege is the Word of the Decade Privilege is quite an interesting concept, though one I find to be wildly over-applied & mis-used in the wake of the takeover of academia by post-post-modernist ideologues. In the current usage, most people simply mean "unearned benefit," which is very much not what the word means in a legal or historical sense. (Another big part of the push of these ideologues has been attempts to re-write the English language into one that better fits their religion of Power.)

Since the recent solar eclipse happened things have been developing very quickly over here! As many of you will know I have been busy starting a new ecoVillages project based on land we bought a few months ago in Portugal. Our mission is quite simply to make it possible for anyone who wants to live off-grid and self sufficiently to do so, in great luxury and independence, liberated from the entire paradigm of the centralised way of life.

This is the first of what is going to be a multi-part series that discusses the changes that we will see over the next 15 years. We are coming upon an era where we see some major technological convergence. In this video I discuss how this is how technology always operated. We saw a societal shift with the introduction of the smart phone. Over the next 15 years ,we will see the smartphone impact but times 10.

My daughters are very different people and as such they are treated differently and have had different access to opportunities. My eldest, Angel, is a fast learner, excels academically and her quick brain has made her a fast learner in physical activities too. My youngest, Izzy, isn't incapable, she just isn't as quick to learn and has to work a bit harder to reach the same point. However, this means she doesn't stand out like her sister, so she never got the attention her sister got. Teachers and coaches would get really excited about Angel. They'd be more encouraging and praising of her. She'd be offered opportunities that only a few other ”exceptional” students would. On the other hand, Izzy got ignored for the most part.

What a beautiful week it's been to arrive back in Winchelsea after an entire season spent in Somerset, UK, in the warmest Spring they've had since records began. I feel a little topsy turvy, not least because I've spent two weeks in a very dark hotel room in Melbourne in mandatory detention - but that's another story. For now, I'm thankful to be outside and assessing the garden, mostly weeding and meeting my four new Australorp chickens, left by the housesitters, and figuring out what seeds I should be planting and what has self seeded, and what greens I can harvest for dinner.

If you like eating, I'd highly recommend that you start gardening. If you garden, I'd highly recommend that you save your own seeds. These are becoming more and more desperate times, so it's best to set ourselves up for success. In this video, I stress that point, and share a bit about saving seeds for peas, carrots, broccoli, radishes, mustard greens, cilantro, and others. Hopefully, it'll be inspirational and educational for some of you out there. Be blessed.

Trying so hard to fit in! Being forced to conform! Is this what we want for our children! There are so many expectations placed on our children today (and lets be honest on adults too, but today I want to focus on our kids), how society expects them to behave a certain way and to have reached certain goals by a certain age. From a young age, they are taught to focus on all of the wrong things and to see failure, as something negative, instead of embracing it as a wonderful opportunity for learning. Being competitive is seen as an essential trait, far more than being supportive of one another.

The morning started simply enough with the sound of birds and dogs playing. I got into my usual work flow until it was time for breakfast. For a bit of context, the last 6 months I’ve spent a lot of my time researching autism mostly because it’s one of the biggest research rabbit holes I’ve ever encountered. I joined a bunch of autism support groups and from reading the experiences of others I learn something new about myself every day that’s relating to autism. For example, I sit in chairs with my feet either crossed or to my chest. Always, even when eating. I currently have one leg to my chest while the other is beneath me.

One of the earliest books I have read about esoteric/occultism/mythology/symbolism was The Secret Teachings of All Ages, by Manly P. Hall, who composed this encyclopedia of hidden openly available knowledge in his twenties. He went on to hold thousands of lectures about these topics, many of which are still available as audio on Youtube. He founded the Philosophical Research Society, that still regularly offers very interesting public lectures by various authors about astrotheology and magic.

About a week ago I committed myself to make the most out of the pellet stove in the house where I'm living. Since it's usually on, it has the potential to be a great tool for dehydrating all kinds of foods and herbs. Thanks to the cold weather, pine mushrooms are still abundant in this area. They preserve themselves literally because they are frozen, which is a nice thing because otherwise, they would have rotted already. Despite the 4°C (40°F) and the snow beginning to fall, I went out to forage some because the last harvest had already been dried up and stored. I wasn't willing to see the stove sending out all that heat and have nothing taking advantage of it, so off into the cold it was.

I’m so inspired today to envision my fantastic future because my present is already fantastic. It’s an ancient philosophy which says that what we think, we bring into reality. You are what you think. This is the old “power of positive thinking” idea, made famous in the last century by Norman Vincent Peal. And he was echoing thinkers from the 19th century spiritualist tradition, as they called it in those days. We have come along way though, for we no longer consider this magical thinking, or in any way spiritual or religious. We now consider it science.

Abundance.Tribe's BiWeekly Question Tie Up Post

Focalized by @Trucklife-Family

The aim of the biweekly question is to help promote self awareness, so that we can begin to go back to a point in our lives, where we are connecting more with our intuitive self. By asking these questions, we are getting one another to dig deep and to reflect on our lives. To focus on what we really want in life and on how we are going to achieve it.

Abundance Tribe Evergreen Collection #6: Breathing Life into Paid Out Posts

Focalized by @artemislives

There are so many good posts which are enjoyed so fleetingly, or perhaps not at all. Maybe it was published before you joined Hive or not yet following that author? Or that was the week you were fasting in a yurt in Mongolia without wifi? Life happens and the 7 day post rewards window is short. Many would say too short. There are also just so many reasons why a post is overlooked, forgotten or received less reward than it should have: autovoters were down, token price crashed, or it was another Hard Fork within moments of you pressing 'publish".
