Fighting with Phantasm, the space eater | My Splinterlands battle challenge Entry ๐ ๐

Another week passed and nothing really changed in my daily boring life. The series of long global lockdowns have affected the filming industry the most as you can not see any large scale movies launching lately. I am a movie watcher and in these lockdown days, I have enjoyed many movies like Greyhound, Extraction, Bulbbul and many more. But now I cannot find any new movie that has been released lately.
I am so bored with this lockdown that I have finally decided to buy a motorcycle. I am a bike lover but my financial condition didn't allow me to buy one. But as I am working from home during these lockdown days, I have managed to save some money. I also sold some hive and withdrew money through Binance, this one my first crypto withdrawal and I want to mention @bala41288 who helped me a lot and guided me on how to use the exchange to trade. I will surely make a blog/vlog after buying it and I hope all of you will like it ;)
Meanwhile, I am still enjoying my quality days by playing Splinterlands and hanging out in discord. I am mostly active in the Neoxian and mancave server. Mostly, I talk about Splintelands in there and also about other random things.
Talking about Splinterlands, not only I love to play it, but also I like to make blogs on this game. I mainly post vlogs about SL in the Hive and other social media. I also partake in weekly battle challenge and social media curation posts.
Anyways, that reminds me of this week's @Splinterlands challenge post on the PHANTASM! If you are a Splinterlands lover like me, it's obvious that you know about this challenge post where they give one theme every week and we write a quality post on it and stand a chance to get curated by team Splinterlands.
This week, the theme is to write an awesome article on the new dragon Reward card PHANTASM! So let's take a deep dive into Splinterlands and meet with our challenger, The intergalactic demon, the Space eater, PHANTASM!
Many of the creatures of Mortis are terrifying and mysterious, even to the Dark Eternals themselves. When the Dark Tzar convinced him so many years ago to tamper with the rules of death, the Lord of Darkness never knew the true scope of the multitude of terrors he would be unleashing forever onto the Splinterlands. The approach of a Phantasm is never expected. They are always presumed to be a figment of their victim's imagination until the pain begins. The pain is very real.

Level 1- In its initial level, it carries 2 melee attack with 7 health and 4 speed. It brings flying ability with it. -
Level 4- At level 4, it carries 3 melee attack at 5 speed and 8 health. It becomes a decent tank card for this 8 health with flying ability. -
Level 10- At max level, It possesses 3 melee attack with 10 health at 6 speed. It also possesses 3 abilities with it at max level as stated below.
Flying
With this ability, the monster will get fewer hits from melee and ranged non-flying enemies.
Return Fire
With this ability, when hit by ranged attacks, the monster will give back reduced damage to the attacker enemy.
Retaliate
With this ability, when hit by melee monsters, the monster will have a chance to hit back the enemy.
Current Market Status
Currently, PHANTASM is placed at 0.011$ per BCX (18.720 DEC as per current rate). There is no max level on the market currently so you have to buy those 1 bcx cards to make it higher level.
I have a level 4 Phantasm currently in my collection. I admit it is useless to use a level 4 common monster in Champ I tier but I really tried my best. I lose almost 15+ battles last night while trying to win a match with phantasm. But after a long losing streak, suddenly my power went off and I lose m interest and tried again this morning lol XD

Heavy Hitters( All monsters will get Knock Out ability).

Melee Mayhem( Melee monsters can attack from any position).
It's a medium mana match and I shall go for the death summoner CONTESSA L'AMENT deck with a group of magic monsters and the Phantasm also of course.
At this ruleset, I have a large mana limit in my hand, after using the summoner and Phantasm, I will be left with 33 man, which is a lot for those remaining 5 places. I have to choose it wisely as I don't have much death cards in the collection. I decided to choose magic monsters with gigantic defence Dark a H'oan at the back, it will soak the backline attacks and also carries 5 abilities at max level! Now, who will defeat this one huh! Thank you @gerber for this awesome delegation :)
Line-Up
PHANTASM
I chose PHANTASM in the first place because of it's Flying ability. I have a level 4 and it has 3 melee attack at 5 speed and 8 health. It also possesses 1 ability as stated below.
Flying- With this ability, the monster will get fewer hits from melee and ranged non-flying enemies.
PRISMATIC ENERGY
I chose PRISMATIC ENERGY in the second place because of it's Reflect ability. I have a level 8 and it has 3 magic attack at 5 speed and 11 health. It also possesses 2 abilities as stated below.

Magic Reflect- With this ability, when hit by a magic attack, the monster will return reduced damage back to the attacker. -
Void- With this ability, the monster will take reduced damage from magic attacks.
CORRUPTED PEGASUS
I chose CORRUPTED PEGASUS in the third place because of it's Healing and Reach ability. I have a level 3 and it has 3 melee attack at 3 speed and 7 health. It also possesses 4 abilities as stated below.

Flying- With this ability, the monster will get fewer hits from melee and ranged non-flying enemies. -
Reach- With this ability, the monster can do melee attacks from the second position in the line-up. -
Strength- With this ability, all friendly monster will get +1 health. -
Heal- With this ability, the monster can heal a portion of the health of the front line monster.
MAGI SPHINX
I chose MAGI SPHINX in the fourth place because of its high magic power. I have a level 3 and it has 3 magic attack at 3 speed and 4 health. It does not possess any ability thou.
ELVEN MYSTIC
I chose ELVEN MYSTIC in the fifth place because of its magic power with Silence ability. I have a level 8 and it has 2 magic attack at 4 speed and 5 health. It possesses 2 abilities as showed below.

Silence- With this ability, all enemy monster will acknowledge reduced magic power. -
Affliction- With this ability, when attacking, the monster will have a chance to apply affliction on enemy, causing it unable to heal in any way.
DARK HA'ON
I chose MDARK HA'ON in the last place because of its awesome se of abilities. I have a level 4 and it has 4 melee attack at 3 speed, 2 armour and 13 health. It possesses 5 abilities as showed below.

Taunt- With this ability, all enemy monster will attack this monster, if they are able to. -
Flying- With this ability, the monster will get fewer hits from melee and ranged non-flying enemies. -
Scavenger- With this ability, the monster will get increased health whenever a monster dies. -
Void- With this ability, the monster will take reduced damage from magic attacks. -
Magic Reflect- With this ability, when hit by a magic attack, the monster will return reduced damage back to the attacker.
Battle Result
Well, tbh I did not think I would win in this match because my opponent is iron lady of Splinterlands. But I was lucky enough guys and my death deck have fought well with me on the battlefield. She used a good Dragon Camila deck on me as you can see from the screenshot above. But I was simply lucky that I won this one.

First, let us follow the opponent's line-up...

My opponent @ifeoluwa88 used Dragon summoner, Camila, against me.

At the front position, she used The Kraken lev 4. She chose a jumbo defence to his front and I just hope I get able to kill this high armour+HP beast with my soldiers.

At the second position, she used Lord Arihanthus level 3.

At the third position, she puts Prismatic Energy lev 8.

At the fourth position, she chose Crustacean King lev 6.
-
At the fifth position, she chose Creeping Ooze lev 8.
-
At the last position, she chose Diamond Dragon lev 3.
No doubt, she used a great defensive deck against me. She puts 2 of the world's most defensive cards at her front, Kraken and Lord, followed by another tank Prismatic Energy and King.
But my Dark Ha'on did an exceptional job back there. he soaked all the attacks from the last 4 cards of her line up and gave enough time to my attackers.
My Phantasm also did a decent job at the front and evade one or 2 attacks. The credit also goes to the Elvin Mystic who helped me decrease the enemy magic attacks.
It was a good match and I enjoyed more as after a long war I have at last got successful to Win one match with Phantasm.
