It was fun to taste this beer
A "Helles" from Austria
This beer is not easy to get as it is sold only in Austria - but we had good connections and my friend got a box.
Stiegl Goldbräu – Salzburg's liquid gold.
Stiegl Goldbräu is a smooth, full-bodied beer. It's tangy, well-balanced flavors are wonderful and refreshing. A wonderful Salzburg beer speciality with 12% original extract.

Words from the brewery
This is THE traditional beer speciality from the Stiegl Brewery of Salzburg. Naturally brewed with the best domestic ingredients, such as water from the Untersberg mountain.
Our head brewer describes our Stiegl Goldbräu as follows: „Stiegl-Goldbräu is a traditional Salzburg beer specialty with 12° Plato and a characteristic golden-yellow colour. A full-bodied beer with a gentle bitterness brewed by using mainly domestic ingredients. Wonderfully refreshing and very agreeable.“

What is a Helles
This one is called "Helles Vollbier"
“Helles” means “pale in color,” as these beers are often golden. The German-style Helles lager is a bit rounder or fuller-bodied than light lager and even all-malt pilsners. Helles lager beers offer a touch of sweetness that balance a measurable addition of spicy German hop flavor and light bitterness. The malt character is soft and bready, making it a terrific complement to light dishes such as salad or fresh shellfish, like clams. Clean and crisp, this is a refreshing beer with substance. Low levels of yeast-produced sulfur aromas and flavors may be common.

Stiegl Brewery
Have a read about the history of this brewery as they started in 1492 in Salzburg to create the liquid gold we love.

The story of this day
A day full of work to clean up the office. After my HomeOffice got a lot new tech stuff, it was time to reorganize all the cables and the whole setting.
A new video corner was born and I might do some more interviews and beer talks there as well.
Let‘s see if we may get @threespeak, @theycallmedan, @wehmoen and @starkerz to the longest running challenge on hive, if we do more video stuff.
Have a great day everybody
enjoy #beersaturday and stay with positive vibes
