I will give you an example about how mainstream media is brainwashing us and pushing our behaviour into a direction they want to, or they are told to push us to from the higher powers.

Travel this summer

At least a few million Belgians travel to France every summer for their holidays. That should be the same this year, but you know... Covid-19. Now the last few days we read a lot articles in Belgian newspapers about France not allowing tourists this summer, or at least thinking strongly about that. Now, nothing special there, but I know a lot of French people and read French news sites too. And there we find a whole different story, in which France will try everything to welcome tourists...

Strange discrepancy, right?

Well, it is simple. Belgian tourism needs a boost like every country, so the Belgian government tries to convince Belgians to stay in Belgium this summer, so our economy gets boosted. And therefore everything is allowed, even twisting the truth, so people wouldn’t go abroad this summer. Sad, but reality!
