Crypto Portfolio Daily Dose #28 - Coinbase Earn Gave A Boost
Today I am feeling a lot better than yesterday. So lets get into the crypto portfolio. Mining payment today was 0.25315053 ETC. Tomorrow I believe will be the payment with the added hashing power from the 7 hours I rented a rig. I did Coinbase earn as well for $9 worth of COMP.
I am still unsure what I want to do with the COMP. I know the use case for token and I personally don't have a use for it. I could hold it and wait for the price to recover with the market or sell it now and put the funds into something that will provide passive income. I wish I had someone to bounce ideas with that had the same passive income goals as me.
I didn't do any trades today because, I see anything I could make a nice profit on. So I decided to spend most of my time fixing small things on the website. Also, I finally decided on which faucet I wanted to promote and I did a test ad to see what will happen. I promoted FreeEthereum and got 22 signups. I'm not sure how many will be active daily. So I really won't know the results of this test for at least a month.
I only spent 0.01 LTC on this test ad. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. If a small percentage of the users are active over a month this ad will pay dividends for the long term. I plan on doing this again, I just need to review the results week over week. If it looks good then I will do another ad for a different faucet. See if I can spread the base passive income before pushing 1 faucet really hard.
Last thing, I just thought about this as I am writing this post. I could sell off COMP and ETC, mine a little more ETC to sell as well until we have $20 and invest that into something else to provide another passive income source. Of course, $20 would not bring in a good source of income but we could study the results and slowly add to the investment over time. I will just have to pick what to invest in.
Options that I am thinking about:
- Dividends from a exchange or casino.
- Trading balance at a different exchange.
- Add to the current bitcoin to earn interest on.
- Mining rental budget.
Honestly, with only $20 for the budget, I think only 2 and 4 would bring in the higher short term profits.
