Earlier this evening I watched a talkshow on Dutch television in which they discussed an issue that happened yesterday during a professional soccer match here in The Netherlands. In that match a coloured player was being bullied and yelled at by the supporters of the opposing team. Besides that, he had to endure the humiliating "jungle"(monkey) sounds every time he had the ball. Obviously this wasn't the first time this happened. And, sadly enough, this happens all over the world.

Anyway, the bullied player got such overwhelmed by emotions that the referee decided to temporarily stop the match. The match was restarted after a while and ended in 3 - 3.
But the whole issue got a wagonload of attention in the media (and for good reason IMO). Because this really should be eliminated and adequate messures should be taken.

In line with the above, the second subject in the talkshow was the, just by Steven Spielberg released, documentary 'Why We Hate'. Sadly they only could show us some short previews of the documentary.

As a kind of a "wrap up" of the subject they nevertheless showed an eye-opening video, that was made some three years ago by a TV-channel in Denmark.

A MUST WATCH! It speaks for itself.

I've got nothing more to say.
