#HPUD, helping a friend and a new project!

So, today my good friend @joseacabrerav reminded us: "Today is Hive Power Up day!".

-"So bad I don't have any liquid HIVE or HBD to make a power up", I thought. Or did I?

Quarantine life has been frugal and I didn't have any spare money to do the powerup.

YAY, but I DID have some 70 something HIVE on Huobi exchange I had forgotten about. And why they were there is on itself an interesting story.

This week we were on almost zero money again, but with food, on our house and with internet to keep working so everything was cool.

Then a friend of ours asked @neyxirncn how to trade HIVE for Colombian pesos. We didn't have any money at that moment so we told our friend to open accounts on Huobi and Localcryptos so he could do this: send his HIVE to Huobi to get btc, then trade those btc for Eth to finally sell those eth for Pesos on localcryptos.

Well, he did so, but the deal got real sour on localcryptos, he tried different buyers, but for some reason or the other he couldn't finish any deal.

Miraculous I got a message from a medicine friend asking me to make some Jurema for her and asking for my bank account to pay upfront. Thanks Jurema for the blessings.

So long story short, I get paid, buy some groceries, pay some of the overdue due to covid rent and get to help my friend and buy his eth. And I also get to manufacture medicine, one of the most intense tasks I know, but which I love to undertake.

I get those eth and decide to move them back to huobi to get some HIVE because the price had dropped. I did so and left the Hive there and proceeded to forget about them until today.
Then I did a full powerup of my now respectable 70+ HIVE to support the #hpud initiative AND give more power to a project of ours that is going Live in a couple of hours after this post goes live.

See, once I powered up I went and delegated all my available HP to @adiwathrive the project I'm embarking on with my beloved wife @neyxirncn and my amazing friends @auelitairene, @joseacabrerav and @drrune.

This project is born from the @naturalmedicine community, where we have found a home and a family. I would like also make a special mention of @riverflows and @imagenius whose support has made this collaborative project a reality. And @abundancetribe for their kind patronage. So #hpup day is for me a way to support the blockchain that has given so much to me, to my family and friends. A way to put food on our table during these strange quarantine days, a place where our voice is heard, where we made AMAZING new friends. And finally a way to support our new team effort. I don't like to compete anymore, I believe we are all a big family and we all should do our best to help our beloved online community.
