Binance ‘Unknowingly’ Earns $775K via Staking XLM; What About Its STEEM Stake?
This is peculiar.
On Thursday (July 18), Binance, the world's largest cryptoasset exchange (by adjusted trading volume), made a rather interesting announcement: it had "unknowingly" earned 9.5 million Stellar Lumen (XLM) tokens through staking rewards, and it is going to give all of it away to all Binance users who maintain XLM balances between July 20 and September 1.

So... does Binance not know that their STEEM holdings also increase in value as the STEEM-per-MVests value increases?
Are they also unaware that they could also be earning much larger sums by upvoting or delegating part of their stake?
Has anybody suggested to Binance that they could also spread a similar largesse as given out to Stellar to a grateful Steem community?
Perhaps more importantly, Binance is also adding XLM staking.
This is not the first time that Binance has added staking support to Binance.com. The exchange already "distributes NeoGas for NEO holders, Ontology Gas for Ontology holders, VTHO for VeChain holders, and BitTorrent tokens for TRON tokens."
Are there any plans to add STEEM staking within the Binance platform?
Would that be good for STEEM the coin and the Steem ecosystem?
