Stop wasting time claiming all these new SCOT-tokens manually. You can automate the entire process in two easy steps.

Spreading The Word

Actually I assumed everyone would have heard about this new service by now. I only just found out I was wrong. Since the announcement post by @blockchainstudio is about to reach payout, and will disappear in the dark dungeons of Steem where all past-payout posts go, I thought I'd give it an extra push.

Instead of just resteeming, I'd rather make the post immortal and share the Steem-Forever link with you, so you can still reward it with an upvote, no matter how long ago it has been posted.

Read it here:

Automate Token Claims

In the post you will find the information you need to save time and claim your tokens on autopilot.

Claiming tokens on Steem-Engine doesn't always work, and I'm pretty sure you have better ways to spend your time than to visit all the different platforms to claim your tokens one by one.

Thanks to ScotAuto, which was developed by @blockchainstudio, there is no need for that anymore. The service claims your tokens for you every hour, provided that you have a set minimum of tokens that can be claimed. This minimum has been set to make sure you don't have to spend Resource Credits on a very small claim.

Steem Keychain

You do need to have Steem Keychain installed for it to work.

(Please don't turn away just yet. I know many of you are afraid to start using Steem Keychain, but there's no need for that.)

In case you don't know what Steem Keychain is:

Steem Keychain is a browser extension (a piece of software that adds additional functionality to your web browser) that allows you to securely store your Steem account keys, easily manage multiple accounts, and seamlessly interact with many of the apps built on the Steem platform. Read more HERE

The extension - developed by @yabapmatt, @aggroed and @stoodkev - is available for Chrome, Firefox ánd Brave and provides you with a secure way to not only log into most steem-based sites, but also allows you to sign transactions without having to expose your private keys every time.

You will find all the benefits of using the Keychain extension in the post I linked to above.

Know I hesitated to start using Steem Keychain myself for months. I only installed it about two months ago, after doing a lot of research. I wish I had done so a lot sooner, because it has made my entire Steem experience a lot easier. If you're worried about security, I advise you to read the comments section of the Introduction post. One of the things that convinced me to install the extension was this conversation between @bubke and @yabapmatt:

Using ScotAuto

Once you have Steem Keychain set up, all you need to do to set up the automated claiming process is start the authorization process on ScotAuto by entering your username in the field and click the 'Authorize'-button.

Then, simply hop over to the introduction post HERE and leave a comment, telling the developers you've initiated the authorization process. They will then register your account. (For now, this process is still being done manually.)

Don't forget to show your appreciation by upvoting the post. (Only upvote the post using this link, which allows you to upvote a post after it has reached payout.)

Happy Automated Claiming!!
