Bleak : Trostlos (Photo 52 Week #5)

Can bleak weather be cold without being cold? It wasn't really cold this morning, but it was so bleak that I shivered.

Kann trostloses Wetter auch kalt sein ohne dass es kalt ist? Es ist nicht wirklich kalt gewesen heute morgen, aber so trostlos, dass mich gefröstelt hat.

There are other words for bleak, such as dreary, desolate, cheerless or miserable, but bleak would suit best to this morning, because although it initially looked like a beautiful sunrise with fog, this fog then was completely different than usual and somehow lit the landscape in a bleak light.

Es gibt auch andere Worte für trostlos, wie zum Beispiel trist, düster, trübselig oder auch freudlos, wobei aber trostlos für den heutigen Morgen am besten passen würde, denn obwohl es zuerst nach einem schönen Sonnenaufgang mit Nebel ausgesehen hat, ist dieser Nebel dann so ganz anders gewesen als sonst und hat die Landschaft irgendwie in ein trostloses Licht getaucht.

My cold photo for #photo52 Week #5

It was really cold that day in early December 2019 and the hoarfrost is a good witness. You can decide for yourself which of the two who took a rest on this bench was the man and who was the woman.

An diesem Tag Anfang Dezember 2019 ist es wirklich kalt gewesen und der Rauhreif kann dies bezeugen. Wer von den beiden, die sich auf dieser Bank ausgerastet haben, der Mann gewesen ist und wer die Frau, kann jeder für sich selbst entscheiden.
