Businesses around the country have been forced by the government to close because of COVID-19 and the related restrictions on social activity and business.

For a variety of business owners in one industry or another, who refused to comply, they've been caught by state enforcers and ticketed or arrested for refusing to submit to the changes.

They just caught another massage business that had been offering service when it was ordered to close.

The government has this year seen astonishing support for its restrictions that it has put into place, whether that be forcing businesses to close or ticketing people for not wearing masks.

It isn't clear how their financial gain helps the matter any, but they aren't one to miss out on the opportunity to fine people for one activity or another. Safety first.

Thousands of businesses have been closed because of these restrictions and millions of jobs around the world have been lost.

For many who closed this year, they didn't close because they failed.

They closed because the government made it impossible for them to succeed through the difficulty.

Even those who remained open, for the most part, still today there are many of them who are only open because the government is offering generous stimulus support for months to fund employee retention programs and more. And if there weren't so many restrictions on daily living still in place, then those businesses would likely be seeing a great deal more market support.

The reality is that the COVID-19 situation has been great for the government in giving it many new ways to profit and restrict daily lives and individual liberty.

Whether or not those restrictions to liberty have been justified depends who you ask.

But our rights shouldn't only have value depending on which person you ask, they should always retain the same value. Meaning that no one or group has any justification to infringe upon them, otherwise those rights are meaningless.

There might have been some push back from a few individuals about masks and business closures, but those same individuals promote state infringement and violence in a myriad of other ways.

This year has shown us with numerous examples how there are many millions who will be quick to support and defend unjust violence and government restriction in the lives of individuals worldwide, if you give them a reason that sounds good enough.
