When a market is on an extended run with prices rising. This is usually accompanied by an overall feeling of euphoria with people taking excessive risk.

The main driver tends to be greed when the bull is running. Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO) is also prevalent at this time.

In equities, a bull market is noted as a 20% increase after two 20% declines.

This is in contrast to a bear market.
