The world's largest equities exchange in the world based upon market capitalization of the listed securities. It is located in New York City, being founded in 1792. It is known as the "Big Board".

Trading hours run 9:30 AM until 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday.

It is presently owned by Intercontinential Exchange.
