Yo inicio mi mes compartiendo con ustedes una noticia familiar, hoy les quiero hablar acerca de un tema un tanto personal del que nunca creí que hablaría o al menos no aún y es que hace poco mi pareja y yo recibimos una noticia por parte de su hermana que nos ha dejado sorprendidos y emocionados y es que ¡vamos a ser tíos! Aprovechando que es jueves de #tbt les quiero contar un poco sobre esta historia, sin más, ¡hablemos un poco!

Todo esto sucedió hace un tiempo, a mediados de marzo para ser más específica, cuando mi pareja y yo recibimos cada uno un mensaje de WhatsApp de mi cuñada con la foto de una ecografía acompañada de la inscripción “Hola tía estoy chiquit@”, apenas vimos eso ambos quedamos sorprendidos y con la boca abierta, es decir, no nos esperábamos eso porque fue algo que nunca imaginamos, pues, nunca se le escuchó alguna vez hablando sobre hijos en el futuro o cosas así, pero supongo que a veces la vida nos sorprende ¿no? Como sea, eso nos alegró mucho, porque ambos tendremos nuestro primer sobrino y llegará este año, por lo que despediremos el 2023 con un nuevo miembro en la familia y el Niño Jesús visitará nuestros hogares en navidad.

Anyway, that made us very happy, because we will both have our first nephew and he will arrive this year, so we will say goodbye to 2023 with a new member of the family and the Child Jesus will visit our homes at Christmas.
Debo decir que mi relación con mi cuñada nunca fue la mejor de todas, es decir, nunca fuimos las mejores amigas ni las mejores cuñadas pero desde la noticia de su embarazo eso ha cambiado y nos hemos vuelto más unidas, hablamos mucho sobre el bebé y todos los planes que hay para celebrar su llegada, de hecho, yo soy la encargada de preparar la revelación de sexo del bebé. Hace como un mes ella me había pedido que la acompañara la próxima consulta a fin de que el doctor me entregara a mí el sobre con el sexo del bebé, se suponía que eso no pasaría aun porque no se veía, sin embargo, esa misma semana el bebé se veía muy bien y el doctor le entregó de una vez el sobre porque ella no quería esperar más, así que luego de salir del médico vino directo a mi casa a traerme el sobre para que yo comenzara a encargarme de los preparativos de la revelación, así que por ahora solo soy yo la única que sabe si ese bebé será niño o niña.

About a month ago, she had asked me to accompany her to the next appointment so that the doctor would give me the envelope with the sex of the baby, that was not supposed to happen even because she couldn't see each other, however, that same week the baby looked very good and the doctor gave her the envelope at once because she didn't want to wait any longer, so after leaving the doctor she came directly to my house to bring me the envelope so that I could start taking care of the preparations for the revelation, so for now I am the only one who knows if that baby will be a boy or a girl.
