Well I have to admit that I did revoke most of my witness vote due to my disagreement with the previous HF21. But I do think that it is important that I will have to cast all my 30 witness votes again!

Why?

While this Monday seems the same as last Monday, it feels that we do have a complete new steem ocean than last Monday! This of course has to do with the fact that steemit.inc has been sold to Justin Sun. Rumors are that he did pay more than $10M. This figure is more important than one thinks!

You can read it better explained in other posts, but Justin didn't buy steem, but steemit.inc. So mainly all there stake and the steemit.com website. He just can't buy the blockchain which is akmost impossible. Never say never!

Witnesses

Well major Hardforks can't be implemented without the support of the majority of the top witnesses. For the moment Justin has told that he will not use his stake to start voting in witnesses. With his current stake he can make a difference in the ranking of the witnesses! But he won't ... of the moment. I do believe that I did read somewhere that he currently controls 20 to 25% of all steem and SP around. So probably without the support of other big accounts, he just can't control all the witnesses!

So, to make sure that this doesn't happen overnight. We, even the small mamals in the steem ocean like myself, should start to vote for witnesses again! Vote for the witnesses you do think that have the best intentions for steem! So, I guess I will to start with a little investigation again. So what the witnesses have a stake and see how they did react and the take over off steem.inc. This way you can make the witnesses stronger in which you do believe, which will give them the opportunity to continue to fight for the best things to do for the steem blockchain!

This will be a hard thing to do because you will have to read between the lines!

But, there is always a but. Let's be honest steemit.inc or steem.inc wasn't run probably in the last few years. Okay there were some improvements since around 10 to 16 months ago! Justin did pay more than $10M for the takeover. And regardless how rich you are. If you purchase something for so much money (even for a millionair this is a lot) you do want to turn it into a positive investment. Of I am wrong?

So while this Monday feels different as the last one, it is still more or less the same for the moment. The steem blockchain is still running! We are still getting steem as pay-out in stead of TRX and so on! But maybe we should try to give the ones who are trying to protect steem, some more power to do so.
