Blue skied sunny days seemed a long way distant today considering the wet, cold and windy conditions however I still had a smile on my face due to the silver price and it's upward tilt. It's been going well although I believe there's more in it with the potential trade/currency war that's boiling away under the surface which I hope sends people flocking to metals which should push the price up even further.

My partner suggested I should take advantage of the increase and sell some of my silver, cash in as such, and re-buy back when the market dips again and whilst it's a sound strategy I think there's more upward movement to come so now might not be the time to do so. I'll keep an eye on it I suppose and see where it goes.

I don't have much only buying when money permits however my strategy has always been to sell off part of my stack at a high price then wait for it to dip again. I know other's may feel that the strategy is flawed as prices might not dip much, or may even rise further from where I sold however silver is an investment for me and if I can sell and make some money to buy back in at a later date I think that's going to work. That's the whole thing of investing right? To make money?

Who knows when the opportune time to sell or buy is...I certainly don't.
