SPinvest is 1 year old!!

First, of many we hope

Believe it are not, SPinvest is 1 year old today and what a year it has been. It has been a great journey from launch post to yesterday's earnings and holding post seen here. Who could have predicted that we would sell 100,000 SPI tokens in under a year? The goal was 1 million but 100k in 1 year is not small fete, we would never have got to million unless we continued to split and dilute the token. The hard cap has added a further premium to the hive-engine exchange price (bonus). After 1 year we have a dedicated group of like-minded club members actively pushing the project forward. It ain't a 1 man show anymore as we head to 100% decentralization.

Year 1

This will be known in SPinvest history as the year of the ICO

We issued over 94,000 tokens in under 8 months which was enough to generate a nice income from leasing HIVE POWER. We also created our partnership agreement and accepted club members that agreed. These club members provide governance of how the fund is ran through club voting. Foundation set.

What we never seen coming was HIVE. Set up as SteemPowered Investments but known as SPinvest are SPI, we changed the SP from "Steempowered" to "Social Prosperity" Investments when we moved the project over to HIVE. We needed to keep the SPI because the main account and all the sub-accounts contain SPI in them and starting fresh on HIVE with brand new accounts was a no can do. Anyways, long story short, as SPI token were 90% backed by STEEM when HIVE when airdropped, SPinvest's fund value doubled overnight and then HIVE MOONED for a few weeks. I think the peak seen SPI tokens valued at $1.14 each.

One thing i noticed is that most of the people that supported the project from the get-go are still around today. SPinvest has become its own small club within itself, not so many people outside the ring of 150ish token holders understand it. This seems to be the way of a lot of projects and im not complaining, it's good to build trust with people over time and gain from their experiences and input.

and that bring us pretty much to were we our now, with the addition of 4 more content producers.

Year 2

Surprise us!!!

Who knows? HIVE could be $1.00 and Bitcoin $50,000. Tether might collapse and spark a huge bear run that kills crypto. Blurt might be the blockchain we all end up using. HMT's might be released and we can cut away from hive-engine. Maybe i fuck something up and everyone wants their money back, SPinvest might not even be running in 1 year are we might get round to building a HIVE game and could be ranking in the money. It's hard to even guess what will happen, one thing i can say with 100% accuracy is change will happen.

We are starting out year 2 much stronger than year 1, Let's set a marker so we can come back in 1 year and compare.
The avg SPI issued at 16 cents, today each SPI token is worth 41 cents. Let's come back next year and see how much we've improved by.

I should also point out that it's been 1 year and SPinvest has manually processed thousands of transactions from fractions of a HIVE to thousands of dollars worth of Tether are Bitcoin and not one single transaction has gone wrong. SPinvest has never misplaced are lost any of its investors funds. I understand im not supposed to lose money but mistakes happen and im just pointing out we've been lucky to have been able to spread our funds around to diversify without getting scammed are sending to the wrong address. For anyone with the time, SPinvest is 100% auditable for anyone that has the time. In fact, we'd pay 50 SPI tokens and 100 HIVE for anyone that is not a token holder to audit and share the results.
