Greetings!

Hello everyone and splinterlands gamers! How are you? Again, This is yet another digital fan art from Noblebright at Splinterlands Art Contest Week 190! For this week's competition, I choose Queen Mycelia as my entry. Aside from other legendaries, this card is one of my favorite because of her ability by giving shields to her friendly monsters. I was challenged to draw this because some veterans artist draws this with their amazing talent. Come on and let me show you how the process of my fan art from the beginning to the results.

App and brushes used

Capcut app - used to make a video clip of the image collected and the video will use to make a gif. Giphy app - used to convert a video clip to a gif. Medibang App - App used for the whole process.

Brushes

Pencil - for sketch and base color Airbrush - for highlights and details Smudge brush - for details Blur brush - lighten and smoothen rough color

**Process

Messy sketchFinal sketch
Sketch* - I use a regular pencil from the medibang app for the messy sketch ( opacity 100 % and width 1). I resketch the art using pencil ( opacity 100% and width 3) and by adding the second layer and removing the first layer to have a final sketch. For me now it is better to use another layer for resketching the art than to erase the unnecessary line for your sketch it is very time-consuming.

*Base color - to color the base of my art I use a regular pencil with 100 % opacity and maximum width. Starting from the upper part and then moving to her lower. I used dark colors except for white such as black, dark red, and dark green for strengthening the base color.

HighlightDetails

*Highlight and details - for highlights I use an airbrush and the sizes will depend on what part I colored. On highlighting, I started at the middle part of the body to the lower part before moving to the upper part. For the details, I also used an airbrush but most of the time I used a smudge brush with 100% opacity and 10 widths. For the details of her head and arms, I use a smudge brush and I use an airbrush from the other and lower part of my art.

Background 1Background 2Background 3

*Background - for the background I use a regular pencil for sketching, an airbrush for highlighting, and a smudge brush for details and the final touch. Using a pencil I sketch the forest image in my mind and color them with a maximum of the pencil. I use more dark colors because I already figured out my queen mycelia art is a light color.

*Final touch and Results - for the final touch, I use a blur brush to lighten and smoothen the rough part of my art. I also used an airbrush brush to color red magic on her arms and the white background near the subject.
